Theradio/tape/cd no longer works. I confirmed that it has 12 volts to the connector. Is there an anti-theft code that shut it down when the voltage was interrupted during the battery change?

Sounds like it needs the code inputting, mine did the same. Now, what the code is?????
Maybe if you post the make and serial number on here someone may be able to help. It maybe written down in your manual etc.

I HAD A NEW BATTERY PUT INTO MY 99 FORD ESCORT zx2 HOT COUPE AND I THINK THEY MESSED UP THE CONNECTER THAT ATTACHED TO MY BATTERY CABLE AND NOW MY CAR RADIO DOSE NOT WORK?

They didn't mess up the connector, you radio has an anti-theft code and it must be put in before the radio will work. IF they would have kept 12volts attached to the battery cables when they replaced the battery all would be well, but once the power is completely disconnecting from the car you must have the anti-theft code for the radio. If you are lucky someone wrote it down in the owners manual if not you will need the serial number off of the radio to obtain it from the dealer.

Guage Cluster Dose not work

Have the CPU program reset by using a code reader . When the battery is removed the CVPU program becomes corrupted . As to the radio you will need the radio security code to re set it.

Radio dose not work

It can be issue with radio fuse or wiring issue of radio.
First test the radio fuse.If its blown out, then replace it.If the fuse i checked ok,then its radio wiring issue.Test the voltage.

My 1980 ford bronco wont start. replaced solenoid and starter and it dose the same thing. wont crank wen i disconnect and reconnect battery and i try to start it all it dose is it clicks and everything...

it sounds like the battery has a problem with it and needs replacing,as you try to start the truck it pulls all the voltage out of the battery(which is very little in the battery)causing the clicking sound you hear, make sure the battery cable connections are tight and clean, both the terminals and cable ends.it takes very little voltage to power up a radio or lights and they probably stop working shortly after they are turned on.
