SOURCE: Check Engine light on Acura TL 3.2 1999

You can turn off the Check Engine light by either disconnecting the battery or by using a code reader to clear the codes. However, if the problem still exists it will come right back on. Instead you should get the code read, find out what the problem is, and fix it. Your local autozone or checker auto parts store will read them for free.

I need to know the location of the crankshaft sensor on a 2010 Acura tl

Hi,

please look around the engine of your car. You can use a website like advanced auto parts to view what the object looks like and use this image during your search. If you can't find it, you can drive to your local advanced autoparts and let them locate it for you.

Thank you.

Crankshaft position sensor 1999 dodge diesel

The easiest way to remove these crankshaft sensors is to pull the transmission out. They are in a very poor location and anyone with a moderate size hand has trouble pulling these out without pulling the transmission out. The vehicle will not run if this sensor is out, and i recommend replacing it even if it wasn't bad if you ever have to work on your transmission or ever have transmission work done. Knowing you have a Dodge, presuming it's an automatic, you will, and i repeat, will have to get transmission work done.
