Remove oil filter, remove oil filter stand, replace seal, and reinstall oil filter stand, oil filter, and check oil level, too off if needed.

the bottom of the engine is the oil drain plug when the engine is cold put a container under the engine and loosen and remove the oil drain plug engine and also remove the cap off the engine (the valve cover) that to facilitate drainage of the oil, allow to completely empty engine oil, then remove the oil filter which is next to the engine using a wrench to remove engine oil filters (eye, when removing oil filter is normal that you can throw a little oil through the filter) use a cloth to clean .... also remove the dipstick engine oil and clean with the cloth .... when it stops bouncing oil ... place the screw down the motor and adjust. then lightly lubricate the rubber seal of new filter or with a little oil (this is to lubricate the seal fit oil filter) then place the oil filter using the filter wrench and adjust (please do not adjust too tightly as it can break the new filter) then pour the new oil according to the number of manufacturer .. Ej 10w 30, 10w 40 ect ... remember to take the correct amount depending on which type of engine has and measuring the oil level measurement with the rod

well let me see you have 4.6L engine you need 7.5 quarts of oil with new oil filter.to do the oil change you need large drain pan and oil filter wrench and a metric wrench to remove oil drain plug you need a funnel also.you need first start engine let it run for 5 minutes to warm up thin out the oil so it will flow better.once engine warm up.turn off the engine.open you hood.now safely raise support vechicle on jack stands make sure vechicle parked on solid level ground.place large drain pan under oil pan remove oil drain plug you need a 15m wrench remove drain plug let all old oil drain out until you see slow drip then reinstall oil drain plug dont over tighten drain bolt.then place drain pan under the oil filter then remove oil filter using oil filter wrench or large channel lock pliers.once you remove oil filter wipe oil filter seal surface with clean paper towel.take new oil filter add oil to new filter then install new oil filter hand tight take filter wrench turn oil filter one half more turn dont over tighten will damage oil filter seal.make sure oil pan drain plug is in place. then lower vechicle. remove oil filler cap on the valve cover add new oil to the engine using a funnel to keep from spilling oil all over the valve cover and exhaust manifold.add all 7.5 quarts to oil crank case wait until oil settle down in crank case check oil dip stick oil level should be at the full mark on oil dip stick.dont over fill crank case.once you finished oil level correct crank engine check for oil leaks at oil filter and oil drain plug. if engine running okay you see no oil warning lights you ready wheel and deal.

Oil filter replacement:

1. Removing:
"a" tabs
(1) Filter element protective cover
(2) Seal
(3) Filter element of the oil filter
(4) Plunger tube.
Untighten the filter element protection cover.
The filter element protection cover incorporates a 27 mm on flats Allen screw with 2 lugs at "a" which enable it to be held in a Facom S27 HLA socket.
Remove the cover (1).
2. Repair: When removing the filter element, the plunger tube ( 4) frees the oil return pipe, thus permitting the oil remaining in the filter element to return to the engine sump.
The filter element ( 3) and plunger tube (4) assembly should be replaced at every service.
Filter element protective cover : Tightening torque : 2,5 (0; -0,5) daNm. Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

When you removed the old filter, did you check if the old oil filter rubber gasket was removed also.
Some time when you remove the oil filter the old o-ring will get stuck on the filter housing.
Then when you place the new filter on you have what is called a double gasket.
this will cause you to leak oil rapidly.
I would remove the filter and check for a double gasket.

SCREW OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG BACK IN PLACE DONT OVER TIGHTEN.THEN YOU REMOVE OIL FILTER USING OIL FILTER WRENCH BESURE MOVE DRAIN PAN TO CATCH OIL WHEN YOU REMOVE OIL FILTER.YOU NEED THE LARGE SOCKET OIL FILTER WRENCH USE A LONG 3/8 EXTENSION TO REMOVE OIL FILTER.WHEN OIL HAS DRAIN OUT AFTER REMOVING OIL FILTER WIPE OIL FILTER SEAL SURFACE WHERE OIL FILTER GOES TO WITH PAPER TOWEL.THEN YOU TAKE NEW OIL FILTER FILL IT WITH HALF OIL RUB OIL ON FILTER SEAL TO HELP IT SEAL BETTER.THEN YOU SCREW NEW OIL FILTER IN PLACE HAND TIGHT IT. Oil Pump

Removal

1. If necessary, remove oil bypass filter (oil filter).
2. Remove oil pump and filter body to engine front cover retaining bolts and remove oil pump and filter body from engine front cover.
3. Inspect oil pump body seal (6C639), oil pump and filter body and engine front cover for distortion and wear. Replace components as necessary.

Installation

1. Position oil pump and filter body on engine front cover and install retaining bolts.
2. Tighten the small engine front cover retaining bolts to 8-11 Nm (71-97 lb-in) . Tighten the large retaining bolts to 23-32 Nm (17-23 lb-in) .
3. If removed, reinstall oil bypass filter (oil filter).

This engine requires synthetic oil, 5 quarts, and oil filter. Remove dip stick, remove oil drain plug at bottom of engine oil pan, remove filter housing, remove oilf filter and o-ring. Replace o-ring and filter, rub o-ring with some new oil, replace filter housing, replace oil drain plug, pour new oil in at top of engine oil cap, replace dip stick, start engine, run for 45 seconds, turn off, check dip stick to make sure oil is at correct level. You are done, recycle old oil.
