John, as Dan H. stated look for pressure switch fluid in/on wires, also look for exhaust leak between the cylinder head and exhaust manifold, flange gasket, etc. which commonly can through the code P1195 and can cause the O2 to read a little out of wack.

Most likely the 1/1 O2 sensor. Make sure your power steering pressure switch is not leaking fluid into the wiring loom going down to the O2 sensor as this is a fairly common issue as well.

What to look for with a obd2 code p1195 on 98 mazda 1.5 protege

From elsewhere on FixYa:

P1195 = EGR (exhaust gas recirculation valve) Boost Sensor Circuit Check the sensor and the wiring/connections to it.

Mazda's also had issues with the vacuum lines to the EGR valve and the ports in the throttle body plugging up! I think some models even had a recall so it may be worth checking with your local Mazda dealer or have your father or you check online for Tech service bulletins and recalls for Mazda!

95 Mazda Millenia- P1195 & P1522: I have already replaced the mass air flow sensor all but 2 O2 sensors, and I have replaced the selenoid for the EGR according to the P1195 code problem/solution i

Try a full reset. Disconnect the car battery for about an hour. Reconnect the battery then try it again. Doing a full reset should reprogram the EEC to go back to factory settings. It worked doing this on my Ford. I would suggest it will work on a Mazda.

P1195 refers to the map sensor, not the egr solenoid. It could be a bad map sensor, bad wiring, or possibly a bad or loose vacuum hose.
P1522 refers to the air control flap actuator on the intake manifold. You can see about yhat at the link below.

Code P1195

That code is for the EGR boost sensor. It has an open or a short in one of the wires.

For one thing the CEL being on all the time how will you know if something else comes up, short of it running bad or worse. The EGR serves two functions. It lowers NOx and allows for greater timing control. If the EGR is not working and the PCM advances the timing when there's no EGR it can cause excessive spark knock. If the knock sensor doesn't work it can cause severe engine damage. If the knock sensor works and the PCM lowers advance the biggest problem you'll have is polluting.

Hope helped (remember rated this help) Good luck.
