Your battery could have a loose connection,follow the negative cable and see if it is getting a good connection.

the headlights Flicker could be caused by the alternator. Local auto parts stores will test this vehicle charging system with their mobile analyzer and it will determine the problem...
The alternator generates direct current for recharging the battery and for powering vehicle electrical loads.

Try test the Mega alternator/ battery fuse, should have power across both circuits.

My guess would be a failing alternator. Get a second opinion on it.

Sounds like a low voltage problem, alternator not charging properly. When you press the gass the motor takes more juice from your battery to fire the spark plugs have you had your charging system tested (most auto parts places do it for free)? Either that or a loose wire causing the short. Check all grounds under the hood and make sure they all have a good contact
