You have verified that the glow plugs work?? I really doubt it.

Testimonial: "Yes new Bosch x4 fitted voltage going to all 4 for approx 20 seconds, at the turn of the key"

But do they get hot? The controller uses the ground circuit, anytime injectors are replaced the controller needs to be replaced as well

I have a 2008 ford kuga 2.0 tdci 4x4 when its below 5ºc it will not start i have pluged a snap on scanner in and has come up with a fuel pressure fault any ideas ?

Diesel fuel tends to be sluggish to pump in cold weather and that is why some diesel cars and trucks have heaters in the fuel tank to overcome this problem. However I tend to think that the glo-plugs are not working as they should be. Have them tested . The fuel pressure fault may be the inability of the pump to pump enough fuel to do the job.

Have an 03 Dodge 3500 diesel that will not start when the temperature is cold. Will start fine if plugged in overnite. Unable to drive to work when cold due to this problem. Have replaced relay sensor,...

I suggest you check that the glow plugs are working as a cold diesel needs the glow plugs to initially ignite the fuel spray in the combustion chambers

My diesel car wont start in zero temps

white sort of smoke when cold and trying to start ,well dont panic and pull engine apart i think you just need new glow plugs thats all ,when its really cold just spray a squirt of easy start ether spray into the air intake whilst someone cranks engine and if it starts straight away then you know you need new glow plugs or the timer relay isnt working ,their is nothing wrong with the engine its just the fact that the glow plugs are down to one out of the four working if not all of them are dead and what you seeing is unburnt fuel as vapour .This is normal what you are seeing if the heater glow plugs are not working as after 40yrs i have seen this quite a lot especially with ricardo type cylinder heads (indirect injection) but you do get it with direct injection as well if the compression is down or the fuel has gelled up but you need temperatures of at least 10c below for this to happen unless the fuel has a antifreeze additive or half a gallon petrol to a tank of diesel will do the same antifreeze trick.

right renew the glow plug timer/relay if you put a meter on the glow plugs when cold and turn ign on (with help) it should supply power for a about 20 secs ,time depends on outside air temperature ,if all else fails then do a colin --- use a push button switch, wired to a relay so glow plugs can be operated by pushing the switch which you will mount on the dash ,cant beat a manual overide system
