Location of cranksensor - 1996 Dodge Neon

It is located near the crankshaft front pulley, remove the inner wheel well liner to see it and the tire on the passenger side.

Check this location for Crankshaft Position Sensor...

naturally its on or around your crankshaft. it is probably hidden behind the crankshaft pulley

it is under a/c compresser in timing cover

Believe it's in the top of the bellhousing,behind the engine,runs off of the fywheel.

You can find the crank shaft sensor in your car under the starter located over the motor mount..You have to remove the starter to reach to the crank shaft sensor.

look for restrictions in exhaust

For a 1999 seville the crank shaft sensor is located on the leftside of the engine right above the oil preasure switch, heres a diagram to help you locate them, this car has two cranksensors, cranksensor A and cranksensor B. hope this helps.

bit confused...the cranksensor will be on the gearbox housing the camsensor will be near the cams not the gearbox if the camsensor has packed up it wont start but if it packs up while driving the engine will run untill you stop it then it wont start,a cranksensor could cause the engine to stop at anytime if it fails..your problem could be the idle air control valve or a timing related issue..
