SOURCE: Volvo v50 2005 climate control

I had the same problem. AC computer forgot where the adjustment flaps are.
- Start the car.
- Press Auto button on the AC (if you have this option)
- Increase fan speed (make shure it is not on minimmal setting)
- Decrease the temperature setting to the minimum -> "Lo"
- Wait about 10-20 seconds
- increase the temperature to the maximum -> "Hi"
- Wait about 10-20 seconds
- Set the temperature that you like.

With this procedure you force the AC to move the temperature regulating flaps to go to both end-positions and motors get calibrated again.

If this does not help, there must be a bad contact somewhere or the fpals may get stuck. -> repair.

SOURCE: 2002 volvo v70xc, car has dual climate controls,

Have same issue with my xc70 cold to coolish on drivers side and warm to hot on pass... slowly, with driving, pass side becomes cool. Slight swoosh sound from dash attributed to A/C is intermittent. Thought to be kinked tube or puncture? : (

Thoughts?

SOURCE: The audio on the right side of my 2001 S80 doesn't work. Any ideas why?

Take the radio back out and double check your connections. If it is a factory system you may have the connections crossed some Volvo radios come with multiple plug-ins

Hi I recently bought a new condenser and it was fitted and the aircon gas refilled, it works well when I set it to cold but doesn't warm up at all, even if I drove for a long distance.

air conditioners only cool , not warm up
that is the job of the heater
If you have a climate control in the system , check for a faulty control module

LINC lsv8 00 disconnect hoses from heater core would that be a temporary fix for heat valve problem.ac cool on Left side warm on right side

Your dual climate control is either out of synchronization or the system has a stuck air temperature blend door in duct due to heat warping and or blend door actuator drive motor has failed. It really takes a dealer to decide which is the problem by using a special scanner.

Heater warms up in morning but over the day only gives cold air despite being set at 22degrees. VW dealership says when set at 22degrees it will warm up to 30degrees and then introduce cold air to bring...

vw fit 3 types of aircon,
1.full climate control (you set temp is stays there)
2.climatronic (as your dealer said.....)
3.aircon std (cold draft)
you cannot change whats fitted to another type.

Impala has dual climate control. AC blows cold on

with a dual climate control system, it is imperative for a proper refrigerant charge to be maintained. the symptom you describe is a possible indicator of low charge on the system. the ac evaporator core is closest to the right side of vehicle thereby making air feel cooler on that side, on the left side of the vehicle the cooled air has farther to travel and warms up from cabin air before it discharged from the vents. this is the most probable issue for your vehicle...however if the charge is accurate, the issue would be more so in the air temperature doors which is located deep inside the dash...i hope this helps...good luck!
