Check the 10 amp fuse for Battery Saver under the dash next to the brake pedal on the left. Just replaced mine and it took care of it. That's only if all 4 windows won't work.

Look at the end of the dash and between the drivers side door for a second fuse panel. I think everything you mention works on one data bus. You can remove the button pad on the drivers door. Since it gets used all th3 time i# might have gone bad messing up the works.

Bad relay more then likely .
Power Window Operation
The power window system operates under the control of the accessory delay relay. The instrument cluster module (ICM) grounds the relay coil to provide power to the power window system & the radio .

Symptom Chart Condition Possible Sources Action
  • All power windows are inoperative
  • Fuse(s).
  • Circuitry.
  • Instrument cluster module (ICM).
  • Accessory delay relay.
  • Driver window control switch.
  • Go To Pinpoint Test A .

The first step to diagnose this problem would be to hook up a factory scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's in the ICM . If no codes do pin point test A
Pinpoint Test A: All Power Windows Are Inoperative
Normal Operation Under normal operation the instrument cluster module grounds the accessory delay relay through circuit 1004 (LB/RD). Power is sent to the driver window control switch through circuit 400 (LB/BK) from the accessory delay relay. The driver window control switch is grounded through circuit 1205 (BK).
    Possible Causes

98 buick lesabre custom stalls won't start windows won't go down when windows go down car will start

It's possible, your power window control gets ignition feed, meaning the circuit goes hot with the key on. If that is the case, I'd have to check feed to and from your ignition switch.
My info showed power window relay, the control side of relay needs voltage and ground, the voltage appears to come from radio fuse, that fuse goes hot with the key on. When problem is ongoing, use a test light on that fuse, to check for voltage, key on.
You can also check the power window relay. Usually the load side of relay is terminals 30 and 87. The control side of relay is terminals 85 and 86.

The windows on my crv wont work

at all stations?
all fuses, in both boxes. (did you read the operators guide to find them,
some cars have a circuit break (thermal) for windows,
and is located in the fuse box.
all this info is at alldata.com
ill look. ill respond , as you are a pro DIY person, can read schematics. if not , its just a guessing game.
IT IS a FUSE, not a breaker. but each motor in door has CB.
UNDER HOOD 40am Fuse #13
then fuse 23 underdash and fuse 8 same.
then the relay.same place.
and the relay is controlled by, master station (drivers)
the driver location doesnt need the relay to work.
the relay feeds power to all other window controls
so the master station is unique.
log in to alldata.com and see the pages on power windows.
here are some tid bits.
battery pull warning

Resetting the power window control unit is required after performing the following procedures: Disconnecting the battery, Removing the No. 6 (7.5 A) and/or the No. 23 (20 A) fuses from the under-dash fuse/relay box or disconnecting the driver's door wire harness.
and
window relearn/reset.
Control Unit Reset
  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  2. Move the driver's window all the way down by holding the driver's switch firmly down; when the window reaches the bottom, hold the driver's window switch firmly down for 2 seconds.
  3. Move the driver's window all the way up by holding the driver's switch firmly up; when the window reaches the top, hold the driver's window switch firmly up for 2 seconds.
  4. If the window does not work in AUTO, turn the ignition switch OFF and repeat the procedure.
  5. Check the window and power door lock operations

I have power rear vents on my 98 Villager that does not operate. I cannot locate it on the fuse box to replace so i checked each fuse and none were blown. Where is it?

go to our site for help.

your owner manual has fuse diagrams.

the qtr windows go through the power window relay. If other windows work, not likely the relay or timer module.

you need 12 volts at this wire on the overhead console switches.

  • Measure the voltage between the power rear quarter glass window regulator control switch C903 , "O/BK" and ground.

  • If no 12 v, SERVICE the "O/BK" wire between the power window relay and the power rear quarter glass window regulator control switch.
The ower window relay is above and behind the fuse panel on the dash. 2 relays and turn signal flasher in same area. Turn signal light on to locate flasher. 2 bolts hold bracket with relays & flasher.

    Sunroof will not work

Power is supplied to the Power windows and sunroof through the power window circuit breaker. That circuit breaker is supplied power through the RAP (retained accessory power) Relay, the RAP relay also supplies power to the radio. The RAP relay is also fuse protected by the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block. The RAP relay is energized by the BCM body control module.

The RAP relay is responsible for the radio and windows working after the igntion is turned off.

The first place to check would be the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block and then the RAP relay in the Body fuse block.

A list of the BODY relay block located on the left side of the dash to the right of the interior fuse block is below:

No power to the power windows cruise control buttons or the power mirrors and door lock on a 1994 nissan pathfinder.

Not common to have all those gadget fail at the same time. check the switch unit it self, windows switch and mirrors switch can be faulty. make sure all fuses and relays are good and windows. on cruise control can be many factor, have the unit check. fuses and relays are cheap at junk yard. some of the nissan relays are switchable by using ac relay to power window relay as long it has the same voltage. It should have the marking on the side.

Where is power window control unit located

usually power windows have a relay that sends current to the windows due to the high current flow that the switch can not handle.
So, the switch works through a fuse and when you activate the switch it sends power to the relay. The relay then closes and sends power to the window motor. Look for a relay either in the fuse panel or in the engine compartment fuse/relay ox. check owner manual for location.
