2003 dodge caravan air conditioner problem. we replaced air compressor with a used one and it worked for a little bit but now it is blowing out hot air again. How can we fix this? Thanks.
Sounds like you have a refrigerant leak. you should charge the system up and check for leaks. all fittings, the condensor, the evaporator, and all the lines

You get a belt for that engine without A/C . It will be shorter and you can't leave the compressor on the engine. So keeping dirt out of the hoses is most important.
you will have to replace the compressor, or install a a kit that replaces thecompressor with just an idler pulley check with your local parts store for a compressoreliminate kit.....HAVE FUN
you should be adding the 134a to the system the low pressure switch is doing its job by not allowing the compressor to kick on, it wont kick on until there is enough 134a in the system to be above the preset pressure for the low pressure switch.
could be anything from low refrigerant to bad compressor cooling fan or air distribution system. if you never have worked on a c i would recommend taking it to a professional
Check the fuses/relay for the compressor. If good, bypass the pressure switch. If the compressor comes on, there is too little internal pressure. Have the system evacuated and recharged. If the compressor does not come on, it could be bad.
Do you have a factory manual? If not try to get one. They are not related systems. Does the AC compressor have 12 volts at the connector when it is turned on?? Your compressor may be worn out.
You have a leak more than likely.
