Rear hatch is locked or unlocked with a key. (if equipped) • To open the rear hatch, insert the key into the lock, turn it to the unlock position and pull up the rear hatch by pressing the handle (DOOR). You can also lock/unlock the latch (but not release it) with the central door lock system. • If unlocked, the rear hatch can be opened by pressing the handle (DOOR) and pulling the hatch up. • To close the rear hatch, lower and push down the rear hatch firmly. Make sure that the rear hatch is securely latched.

Nearside back door wont open on fob or manually

Sounds like the either the lock solonoid has failed or the wires in the rubber boot from the door frame to the door are damaged ,,remove the back seat then remove the door card and open it manually

I have 97 souvreign and when opening doors just driver door and one one back doors open and other two doors not opening even by pulling handle manually does not open..

If they're power locks your door lock actuators might be faulty. If you push the button and it sounds like its opening or you manually unlock the doors and they still won't open, that would be my first guess. The motors might be getting weak and not have enough oomph to actually move. If it's manual locks, the locking mechanism could be messed up inside and is sitting in the lock position and won't move no matter what or the rod came off either way it will be Tricky getting the door panel off with the doors closed :)

Why won't the driver side manual slider door open?

The rod from the handles to the lock mechanism could have come off or become bent to the point that it won't work the latch anymore. The prior problems were probably just symptoms of the problem you have now. Will have to take the door panel off and manually trip the latch.

2006 325 i door locks not working driver door will lock and other doors stay open if drivers door is locked it needs to be open manually back doors were locked by hand and now wont open by remote

I had a very similar situation. Was very annoying not being able to unlock or lock doors from pannel control nor from remote.
Only driver door can be opened with manual key.

Solution: One of the 15 amp purple fuses was blown. Fuses are located inside glove compartment, the interior end has to be removed releasing the two locks.
Use a light and the red tool located on the panel to remove fuses.

Unable to open driver's door with key...cannot insert key and when door is opened, all doors make a loud buzzing sound (must manually open rear doors.)

That is the door actuator. It costs including labor @ $300 per front door, $500 per back door. I just replaced 2 of them and have 1 more to replace.

Same problem on mye A3 97 mod

To manually unlock, open the trunk/boot lid, pull back the carpeted panel directly behind the fuel door, look for the manual fuel door release cable. pull it to open.

My one door lock button is stuck down and others simply don't wor

You may need to remove your door panels (screws are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door) and then peel back the weather film on each door to see what could be causing the issues.. rusted wires, loose connection, broken linkages, seized linkages. I'm not sure what to do with your car since each door seems to be having a different issue, but I would check the locking mechanisms..

Back hatch won't open

Hi: Under your hood in the power distribution box is a 3A fuse, if blow your door locks and rear wiper motor won't work, replace fuse. To manually open door ... take a pick or fine longer screw driver and insert it through the carpet liner on the interior back door (center, top of carpet you will find a indent under the carpet.) move pick to release the door latch mechanism.
