I have a 2001 Chrysler PT cruiser with a Code P1684 how to fix it

The fault code P1684 means that power to your powertrain control module (PCM) was interrupted. The most common cause of this is because of a weak battery. When the car is stated, the voltage drops low enough that it cuts power to the PCM for just a brief moment, which will set the fault. It can also be caused by a wiring issue to the PCM, or a bad connection in the battery cable. It may or may not cause issues with drivability.

My 2002 pt cruiser died while I was driving first the oil light came on then it just died! I just had the oil changed 3 days prior to it dying some of the codes I received were 0340 1684 1685...

P0340 is cam position sensor. P1685 is for the key(has a chip in it) P1684 is battery has been disconnected. If the engine will still crank then codes P1684 & P1685 are probably old codes. So if the car will still crank, lets forget about those codes and focus on P0340 A bad cam position sensor will cause the engine to die and not allow it to start back up. Replace the cam position sensor and clear the code and the car should start up.

How to clear p1684 code on the dodge caravan se 2002

The P1684 code simply means that the battery has been disconnected within the last 50 starts. There will be no problems caused by this code and It will go away on its own once you start the car enough times. I know for some Chrysler vehicles, the code will go away once the problem has not occurred after 50 starts.

What to do with code P1684 comes on a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country

If the vehicle runs fine other than the P1684 code then it is probably the result of the battery being disconnected sometime in the recent past.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country LX. I turned the ignition switch on and off two times. When I turned it on the third time, the odometer started registering codes. The first code was p0302. ...

302 is misfire on cylinder 2. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6715318-causes_gasoline_engine_misfires .
1684 is battery disconnected, which you caused when you disconnected it--you can ignore that. You probably have an intermittent misfire. Please follow my troubleshooting steps and let me know if you have questions.
