Easy, just remove the cover on the back of the light in the trunk area and remove the bulb. Press in and turn counterclockwise and pull out. Fit the new bulb the opposite way as removal. You auto parts store will look up the make/model/year and give you the correct replacement bulb.

Testimonial: "There is no access to the back of the taillight from inside the trunk. Two bolts need to be removed that are covered by the trunk lid and the taillight housing then needs to be carefully pushed outward to release two small captive pins---the rear of the taillight is now accessible to replace whichever bulbs need replacing"

All of my lights work except my tail lights

there is a tailight fuse that may be burnt out.if its okay then you may have bulbs that need replacing.check for power at the sockets and check for grounds for the sockets to make sure they are working.if you have no ground then you can supply a good ground to see if it fixes the problem,if so then find the ground wire that supplies the tailights and check it to find were the problem is and fix the problem.the same with the power wire for the tailights which should be a brown colored wire,

My bottom passenger tailight isnt working, nothing is burnt inside the bulb. Would it be causing my right signal to blink quickly?

either there is another bulb, look at all of them, is burnt or, a wire/connection is either broken or damaged. if that is all good, replace the flasher relay, it controls the timing while flashing

The brake lights sensor is on but nothing is wrong with my lights, what could it be?

Hi you probably have a faulty bulb but it hasnt blown yet check for blackning of the bulb glass
or even that you have the correct wattage of bulb its embossed on the side of the metal part of the bulb ,also check for any water seepage into the lamp unit or wiring that might cause corrosion
the bulb warning selfcheck system sends a control voltage through the lighting circuit on your car any high resistance in the circuit like a faulty bulb will put the warning light on the dash on to let you know theres a fault

How can I replace my rear tailight on my 2003 Thunderbird?

you should be able to remove the taillight lens. open your trunk, you may have to pull back the carpet covering the taillight retainer nuts. There should be 3 or 4 retainer nuts, these will either be a plastic wing nut style,or metal nut. remove all of them and gently pull on the lens,it should come out with very little resistance.the bulb fixtures will generally turn counterclockwise. replace burnt bulbs and replace the lens. hope this helps. Only one tailight works. replaced bulb. brake lights work turn signals work driver side tailight works no tailight on passenger side.

i think you'll find with a test light at the tail light connector, that the you do have power but the problem is the unit that holds the bulbs and is a printed circuit is bad

Brake and tail light work sometimes

clean the connectors on the tailights.
also clean the tailights " connectors as well.
look for burnt parts if none clean them real well and while lights on move the connector to see if it's loose.either way one of those two things should fix your problem.
