I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey .Ived replaced the driver side door because the original door had a large dent so ive relaced it with a used door from the salvage yard it came with the original wiring etc

The window on driver side and passenger side were working ok for a little while but it stop working for both sides , but I go to the passenger side switch and it works just fine it goes up and down but the driver side wont work for both sides . ived noticed the wiring harness on the door ived purchased is a little different from the original like the original window motor has more wiring a total of 2 wiring connectors instead of only one . so I swap the whole wiring harness to the original including the window motor . but still wont work for both sides up or down , ived check for voltage and ground coming from the harness that plugs in to the window switch about 2 wires has voltage present but none of the 4 swithes wont work. thank you Jose.

Check to see if the wires to the windows are broke in the rubber hose from the door to the body where the door pivots.

SOURCE: 97 Accord drivers side window won't go up or down....

Window motors & regulators go bad every day. Pull your door panel, unplug the motor, if you have an ohm meter apply the leads to the leads into the motor. One will be ground the other two will raise and lower (reverse) the motor. If you show resistance between the leads the motor windings are good and the problem may be the window regulator. If you do not have an ohm meter, you can run two wires (one ground, the other hot) and test the motor by applying elec to it.

SOURCE: Driver side door won't lock electronically

very common problem is the door lock actuator. i would recommend replace that. a good idea also would be to remove the door panel and check all the rods that connect to the assembly and make sure one didnt pop off.

Testimonial: "I figured it out before i got the answer, but you were right, it was the actuator for sure, i replaced it and it worked just fine. thank you!"

SOURCE: 1996 honda civic lx passanger power window problem

I had this problem as well as 33 others I've spoken to online. The main floor harness runs thru the drivers side front fender and plugs into the drivers door. The harness in 1996 civics are an inch or 2 too short so after a few years a few of the 25 thru 27 wires in the plug #C556 either break off or pull out of the plug. Since the drivers door contains the master power window and lock switches and the power mirrors can also be affected it can seem like everyones problems are in different parts of the car but they are all part of the same default. So I went to ebay and purchased a floor harness with full power options and installed it myself. Until my part came in I just went to a junk yard and cut off a good plug then spliced it into my existing floor harness. Hope this helps. It took me 4 months to figure this problem out!!!

2003 Honda Odyssey Brake light replacement

open the rear hatch. Between the tail light housing and the rear hatch opening there is a trim strip with two flush fitted flap doors. Insert a small straight blade screwdriver into the small slot on the tail light side of the flap. Pry gently inboard and the small flap will open (the hinge side of the flap is on the side of the rear hatch opening.) Now you can remove the screws that hold the tail lamp assembly in place. Finally, there is still a "spear point" clip that fits into a socket near the front outboard corner of the assembly. Gently pry with a tape wrapped screwdriver (avoids scratches) and force the assembly straight back. The clip should release and free the assembly so you can change the bulb(s).
