I have a kia Sportage, after driving a while then shut the engine off the battery is become weak. then after 30 minutes to 1 hour rest it will become strong

Either your battery is not being properly charged OR when you use the car some circuit is putting a tremendous load on the battery depleting it.

Turn key just a clicking noise. Lights come on. Check engine light on

A weak battery will make the lights come on & energize the solenoid for the starter, but the battery is too weak to make the starter motor turn. Checking the battery would be first, the solenoid second.

Starting

Hi Naill, I'm just guessing too. The TDC sensor is actually the crank shaft or camshaft sensor. They controls the ignition and injection timing. They can have become defective or contaminated with dirt. Try cleaning and see what happens. Sorry for not being of more help. Regards John

2003 durango 4.7 is hard to start!

you can check the fuel pressure, and also make sure the pressure is not bleeding down with key off. It will hold about 30 psi with key off, in order to keep injectors primed. If it is bleeding down, it will have an extended crank.

Motor not turning over

At the transmission bell housing at the back of the engine on the drivers side there is a crank sensor that is tell the engine it is ok to give spark etc. This is really common on this vehicle. It can be ordered from autohausaz.com for about $50.00 it is held in by one bolt. Recommend a long extension with a universal ar flexible shaft. About a 30 minute job. They say you should take into dealer to reset computer after changing not sure why. I never did.

Engine starting problem

Problem is probably the starter motor. The windings probably have a burnt spot and wont turn over readly.
