I need a diagram for a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor that shows what pin number on the wire harness from camshaft position sensor to the computer.

My wiring diagram for your vehicle doesn't show a camshaft position sensor, neither does my online parts book.
My wiring diagram does show a top dead center sensor besides the crank sensor, and it shows to be in distributor assembly. Whether that is integrated into that assembly or can be serviced separately, I don't know?

- Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction - Wiring problem ! Check for 5 volts on the white an violet wire at the input speed sensor . Check for b+ voltage on the black / with white stripe . The last wire is low reference (ground inside the PCM ) Then check continuity Of same wires from PCM connector B-21, Pins 111 -white with violet stripe ,pin 113 brown . Check for open between PCM an the input speed sensor

Looking at engine it is on right side of engine in front with two wires coming out of sensor .

Don't think it is the computer , wiring issue more then likely !

Description & Operation

The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is a variable reluctance sensor that is triggered by a high point on the left-hand exhaust camshaft sprocket. The CMP sends a signal relating camshaft position back to the PCM which is used by the PCM to control engine timing.
The CMP sensor detects the position of the camshaft. The CMP sensor identifies when piston No. 1 is on its compression stroke. A signal is then sent to the PCM and used for synchronizing the sequential firing of the fuel injectors. Coil-on-plug (COP) ignition applications use the CMP signal to select the proper ignition coil to fire. The input circuit to the PCM is referred to as the CMP input or circuit. DTC P0340 is associated with this sensor.

Removal & Installation

3.0L (VIN S) Engine

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the electrical connector.
4. Remove the bolt and the CMP sensor.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the pin-type retainers and remove the accelerator cable snow shield.
4. Detach the spark plug wire retainer.
5. Detach the wiring harness from the intake manifold support.
6. Release the fuel charging wiring harness from the valve cover studs. Position the wiring harness away from the camshaft position sensor.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector.
8. Remove the screws and the CMP.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   NOTE Make sure that the fuel charging wiring harness is fully secured to the valve cover studs.
   

Testing

1. Check voltage between the camshaft position sensor terminals PWR GND and CID.
2. With engine running, voltage should be greater than 0.1 volt AC and vary with engine speed.
3. If voltage is not within specification, check for proper voltage at the VPWR terminal.
4. If VPWR voltage is greater than 10.5 volts, sensor may be faulty.

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
   WARNING Use only a high-impedance multimeter, otherwise damage to the PCM and/or sensors can result.
   
2. With the key OFF , disconnect the CMP sensor harness connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the CMP sensor.
   
   3.0L Engine: 250-1000 ohms
   
4. If the resistance measured is outside the limits given, replace the CMP sensor.

I'm confused. You are asking about camshaft position for a BMW 325ci in a question posted under 2000 Mitzubishi Endevor and didn't mention WHAT ABOUT camshaft position....???

YOU NEED A DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER THAT WILL SHOW YOU TPS SENSOR OPERATION.WITH THROTTLE CLOSE TPS SENSOR VOLTAGE OUT PUT 0 AS YOU MOVE THROTTLE OPEN THE TPS SENSOR VOLTAGE SHOULD INCREASE TO 5.0 VOLTS THATS WIDE OPEN THROTTLE.
