why not put us on the same page?
listing the job and prior symptoms.

You can fix it very much yourself. Just get an online manual here for like 10-15$ and you need no mechanic.

It's one of those manuals people get nowadays to do it yourself.. My nephew use it to repair my car and it's totally repaired now. Here's the website he bought it from. 2002 jeep liberty Very good website

The Jeep Liberty Keeps stalling at idle or anytime you take pressure off the gas pedal for a couple of seconds

check for vacuum leaks on every hose connected to the engine intake manifold. If all hoses tight at both ends, remove idle air control (IAC) valve as well as hose from throttle body. clean valve, idle air passages, and throttle body with carb cleaner. Hope this clears up the problem. Let me know if you have any questions.

No heat in jeep 2002 Liberty what shall I do?

First while the engine is cool remove radiator cap and make sure it is full of coolant. Run the engine till temperature reaches mid way on gauge.Feel radiator and heater hoses, should be very warm to touch,if hoses are cool, thermostat might be stuck open. If hoses are hot, sit in passenger seat and turn heater controls to high heat, turn control to make air come out dash vents , from left to right feel temperature of air from vents .A temperature change can mean a problem with the air inlet door, mode door or blend door . This seems to be a common problem. Further inspection will be needed to verify which actuator and door is the problem. There is a Technical Service Bulletin with infomation and a list of parts you can get from your dealer. This is not an easy job, most if not all of the heater housing will have to be remove. Hope this helps. If this is your problem and you dicide to do the repair I can give some help with information on removing dash components. This can be a 4 to 9 hour job depending on with part is bad.

2002 Jeep Liberty - Air conditioner not blowing. Replaced blower relay switch - Still not blowing. When car is in motion, you can feel cold air at the vent, but the blower is not blowing the air into the...

OK. So the blower notor isn't operating. Do you have power to the blower motor? The resistor is new from what I got. If you don't have power to the blower motor, then check the speed control switch and fuses. If you have power at the blower motor, replace the blower motor

How to change out thermostat on 2002 jeep liberty? Do I have to remove the water pump?

Hi:
You don't need to remove the water pump. The thermostat is located under a housing, at the engine end of the upper radiator hose.

All you need to do is drain your radiator, remove the upper radiator hose, and remove the thermostat housing. Clean it up well, and replace all gaskets before reinstalling!
