Ok, Is there a question?
Usually with gas smell, I look for external gas leak? If I find nothing, I check the evap system. Next, I check if the vehicle is running rich or lean? Were there any applicable trouble codes? If so, what were the codes? The map sensor could have a problem?

Testimonial: "Yeah we changed the map sensor and it's the same thing there is a gas smell is still there and there is no gas leak. And the air bag light is on to and we don't know why?"

Are there driveability issues? Was there a trouble code? I'd check the map sensor wiring circuits and vacuum. Your vehicle has a maf sensor, also, so the map sensor has little to do with engine management. At the moment, I don't think the map sensor is the cause of the gas smell, I could be wrong. If a shop was able to look at it and gave their opinion then I don't know what to tell you.

Where can I find the map sensor on a 1990 Buick Riviera 3800

You may not have one. If you have a Mass Air Flow sensor, very possible there is no map sensor.
I have a '92 LeSabre, and it does not have a map sensor, only the MAF sensor. I have seen a 2005 Buick Century that has both the MAF and a map sensor. On that one, the MAP sensor is on top of the intake manifold, on the passenger side of car.

Location of the pvc on 2002 buick 3.8?

on the passeger side of the intake plenum there will be a sensor called the MAF sensor. It will have three wires going to it. The PCV valve is under the cover that the MAF sensor mounts to.

Where is the pcv valve on a 2002 buick lasabre

The PCV valve is located under the map sensor in a plastic housing. If you stand on the passenger side of the vehicle and look under the hood, the map sensor is the sensor right in front of you.

It should have three wires going to it. If you look closely, the sensor is clipped into a type of cap. If you grab the cap the sensor is clipped into and twist it counterclockwise, it should come off and the pcv valve will be inside. You may need new orings to prevent oil consumption. You may also need a needlenose pliers to remove the sensor from the upper intake manifold.

Hope help.

Our Buick Lesabre stalls unless we keep our foot on the gas. If we take the foot off it stalls.

I've been having the same problem on my Dodge Dakota. I went through a few things, Map sensor, oxygen sensor, but it ended up being the Idle Air Control Sensor or Valve. Check that out. I took mine off and cleaned it up inside with Brake Cleaner. Works alot better. Will eventually have to change it, but it's good for now. It doesn't stall practically at all anymore. Hope this helps a little.

Fuel leak (smell is in the passenger vent) but cannot be located.

sounds like it could be a leaking fuel rail. you should fix this very soon. if it is it is a fire hazard. that is if it is under hood and not underneath. look under vehicle and check for wet spots.
