SOURCE: how to bleed air from

There is no such procedure, during operation the the fuel pump creates more than 35 psi, the injectors open and close (pulse width) to fulfill engine requirements, if there is any air it will be push by the fuel pressure.

There should be a cap on the fuel rail that looks like the one on a tire valve.Take the cap off and its the same as a tire valve.Push the pin in but be careful to stay clear while doing this

Hello i broke a fuel line off the tank I put it back on and now primed and bleed from the fuel filter but still wont start. its a hino truck 91 tipper truck

start at the filter and bleed the air , next is the bleed screws at the pump (could be one or two depending on the make ) if it doesn't start then loosen off all the injector lines at the injectors and crank the engine until you see fuel dripping from the nuts ( that is bleeding the air from the injector line s)
have someone tighten the nuts while cranking and it will then fire up as the nuts get tightened

How do you bleed a diesel pump jeep Cherokee turbo diesel 3.1 5 cylinder 2001

FUEL INJECTION PUMP BLEEDING
(1) If the fuel injection pump has been replaced,
air should be bled at the overflow valve before
attempting to start engine.
(a) Loosen the overflow valve (Fig. 18) at the
rear of the injection pump.
(b) Place a towel below the valve.
WARNING: WHEN CRANKING THE ENGINE TO
BLEED AIR FROM THE INJECTION PUMP, THE
ENGINE MAY START. PLACE THE TRANSMISSION
IN NEUTRAL OR PARK AND SET PARKING BRAKE
BEFORE ENGAGING THE STARTER MOTOR.
CAUTION: Do not engage the starter motor for
more than 30 seconds at a time. Allow 2 minutes
between cranking intervals.
(2) Crank the engine for 30 seconds at a time to
allow air trapped in the injection pump to vent out
the fuel injector drain tubes. Continue this procedure
until the engine starts. Observe the previous WARNING
and CAUTION.
(3) Tighten overflow valve.
HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL LINE BLEEDING
WARNING: THE INJECTION PUMP SUPPLIES HIGH-
-PRESSURE FUEL OF APPROXIMATELY 45,000 KPA
(6,526 PSI) TO EACH INDIVIDUAL INJECTOR
THROUGH THE HIGH-PRESSURE LINES. FUEL
UNDER THIS AMOUNT OF PRESSURE CAN PENETRATE
THE SKIN AND CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY.
WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES AND ADEQUATE PROTECTIVE
CLOTHING AND AVOID CONTACT WITH
FUEL SPRAY WHEN BLEEDING HIGH-PRESSURE
FUEL LINES.
WARNING: DO NOT BLEED AIR FROM THE FUEL
SYSTEM OF A HOT ENGINE. DO NOT ALLOW FUEL
TO SPRAY ONTO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD WHEN
BLEEDING AIR FROM THE FUEL SYSTEM.
Bleed air from one injector at time.
(1) Loosen the high-pressure fuel line fitting at
the injector (Fig. 19).
(2) Crank the engine until all air has been bled
from the line. Do not operate the starter motor
for longer than 30 seconds. Wait 2 minutes
between cranking intervals.
(3) Start the engine and bleed one injector at a
time until the engine runs smoothly.

94 Dodge diesel finally got it running and it stalls and doesn't want to start we pump it up and stil it still doesn't want to start

from your description there is still air getting into the pump
check that the fuel filter is on correctly and air tight
check and bleed all the fuel system including at the pump
loosen the injector lines at the injectors and crank until there are drips of fuel at the nuts
re-tension the nuts as you keep cranking as this process bleeds the air out of the injector lines
CAUTION--KEEP FINGERS WELL CLEAR OF THE NUTS AS THIS FUEL IS AT 20.000 + PRESSURE AND WILL PENETRATE THE SKIN

Run out of gas,now it wont start

You will probably have to bleed the injectors or injector rail. Look for a bleed screw on the injector rail or loosen the injector lines to bleed out any air . Some fuel pumps have a priming bulb for this reason check to see if your vehicle has one.
Hope this helps.

Hino Rainbow bus ran out Of diesel I have now put diesel in the tank, and I jus need to know where fuel injection is located to bleed the air out please

air bleeds are on the filter housing and on the fuel pump
If it has individual fuel lines to the injectors the loosen the injector nut to each injector and wind the motor over until you get drips at the nut. re-tighten the nuts and it should start

Fuso 6d40 injector pump didn't transfer fuel to injector.

bleed the air out of the pump
from your photo the bleed screw is the nut with a screw in it that has a slot. Use a flat bladed screw driver and loosen the screw and use the hand pump located in the photo right at the bottom and lightly to the rear of centre. Undo the top ,pump until you have solid fuel from the bleed screw and close of the bleed screw. Connect all the injector lines up leaving them loose at the injectors. Crank the motor and you will see ( after a few seconds drips of fuel at the loose nuts . Tighten the nuts while cranking and the engine will fire as the injectors start to work (SAFETY NOTE)
THE FUEL AT THE INJECTOR NUTS WILL BE AT 20.000 PSI OR BETTER SO KEEP YOUR FINGERS WELL AWAY FROM THE NUTS.AS YOU TIGHTEN THEM UP.

How to bleed fuel injectors 2002 sebring

Most fuel pressure gauges have a bleed valve where you could let the air out.
You could just crank the engine until you get fuel pressure and let the air escape thru the injectors.

How do i bleed the fuel line on a 2011 buick lucerne. FYI I just replaced the fuel pump

To bleed a John Deere 2240, find the bleeder port on the injector port. Crack open the bleeder port while you're pumping the handle on the fuel pump or cranking the engine. Keep pumping until you get a steady stream with no air. Be sure to keep pumping while you're closing the bleeder port screw. If you can't get it to run right after bleeding the pump, you may have to bleed the injectors. Just crack the nut loose on the injector and start pumping. Keep on bleeding until all the air is out.

How to bleed a 89 pajero that has run out of diesal

You have to crack the injectors, or loosen the fuel line going into each injectors. Then have someone help you by turning the motor over, letting fuel and air bleed out around the fitting that you loosen at the injectors. You will see air & fuel start spraying out around the point of breaking the lines. When you see a good flow of fuel. Tighten everyting back up tight. It should run ruff for a few seconds. Then you should be back to normal.
