You should try cleaning the terminal connections of the headlights wiring with like wd40 or anything that removes. moisture . then check the tightness of them .thanks.

You're sure about the alternator and battery, then? Had it tested or put a voltmeter on it? If they are good and with clean tight connections, then I would be looking at a grounding problem for the lights. My first thought was alternator problem, but if not a power problem, then likely a ground problem. LeSabres have lots of ground points, possibly 3 or 4 you need to look at (battery itself and headlight ground being 1 and 2.). Do dashlights flicker, too? and what about the battery/alternator warning light?

Battery wont charge, battery/ABS/SRS/BRAKE lights come on while driving and flicker. voltage increases to dash lights/fan speed/headlights periodically.

Get a volt meter, start your car and see how many volts your car is producing while running. Should be around 14 volts. May want to watch the meter for a while since your electric seems to fluctuate. Most voltage regulators are internal of your alternator. If you are getting a lot more or less than 14 volts while running, replace the alternator. If it is not charging, voltage will drop as vehicle runs, until battery is dead.

The alternator generates direct current for recharging the battery and for powering vehicle electrical loads.

Dash lights and headlights are flicker on my 2000 Buick LeSabre limited. Any solutions? Also the abs and traction control light won't go off.

Traction light is on because the abs is on.Traction control needs to have the abs system fully functioning to work. Most common cause of abs light is a wheel speed sensor. As for your lights flickering the alternator may be going out or you have a poor ground connection.Would check battery cables first to make sure they are tight.

Go to Autozone or Oreillys for a free scan of both the computer and the alternator. It sounds like a Regulator is bad. There reason it works well the first 10 minutes is that the battery is recharging and the Alternator is steadily charging via the Regulator. Then when the battery is charged the Regulator is tapering the charge and providing just the amount of energy your car needs.

This provides an off-on cycle which is the flicker you notice. It is not normal to show up and should be seamless. You may have the type of Alternator with a built-in Regulator and will have to open the Alternator or replace it to change the Regulator. There may also be a Headlight relay they mentioned, but if you notice the flickering in the overhead Dome light with the engine running at different speeds it is more likely the Regulator.
