The errors seem to be at random and now I am thinking it might be a fuse issue based on everything I have found but could be a wiring issue. The lights on the dash flicker (as well as the headlights) then go completely off like it is resetting itself but then comes almost back on within 5 seconds. The steering eventually decided it didn't want to work but came back after a couple of seconds. From everything I have read it appears to be a common issue from 2006-present encompassing many models of vehicles but primarily trucks. There also seems to be many different fixes for the same thing. I do a little bit of fire road traveling but nothing more than that. GM has a bulletin on it but it seems like they really need to figure it out quick and do a recall. Any more questions just ask

So it was traced to a loose grounding nut underneath the mat in the dash...seems kinda odd to me that that would cause that particular issue but it worked fine today in the ice on the roads in north Georgia
