Car lost all power while driving. Battery good but not receiving enough power. Car restarts and drives but will randomly die completely out. Diagnosis? Alternator, connection, or computer problem?

I'd start by dis-connecting the battery, then cleaning the terminals, clamps, connections, and checking the wires. Use a mild solution of baking soda in water to remove all corrosion from the components. Then rinse with fresh water, re-assemble, and give it a try.
Cheers

My 1996 chevy cavalier it starts but you start to go somewhere it seems like it has no power the battery light is on the engine is on also does like little back fires after that then it will go then

Maybe faulty battery connection, Corrosion is another thing that can cause a bad connection to pop up. The same two ports mentioned earlier that can develop a loose connection can also develop a corroded connection.
As corrosion develops on the ports, the connection consistently grows weaker. There is less metal to metal contact and therefore it becomes harder for power to transfer from the battery to the starter.
If you're having battery problems, check your ports to see if they're corroded. If they are, you might think about cleaning them. Here's a good explanation and directions for how to clean battery posts.

If you've let your car sit idle for awhile without using it, usually at least two weeks or more, then your battery might have lost enough power that it can no longer start your engine.
After a battery starts a car, the alternator takes over and powers the electrical systems of the car and also recharges the battery, which we'll talk about next. As long as the car is being run fairly often the battery can be continuously recharged and ready for use.
But if the car isn't being run often, the battery will slowly drain over time and soon won't have enough juice to send the necessary voltage to the starter.
Battery problems can quickly arise from alternator problems. If your alternator is going bad, then it will no longer be able to charge your battery. You'll start your car, drive for awhile and your car will die.
The battery won't restart the car and you'll be stuck. Like I mentioned in the above point, the alternator powers almost all of the electrical systems of the car once the car is started and it recharges the battery as well.
So if your alternator is going bad, not only will your battery not recharge fully, but your car might die on you while driving because you aren't generating enough spark or other things in order to successfully run your vehicle.
Or maybe try a different battery.

doble check the alternator... take it to a different shop or mechanic, check the battery, maybe the battery is dead or it does not storing energy... if it not solve the problem, check for grounded wires, cables....

Battery was completely dead- so I just purchased a new one. The weather had been very cold with plenty of snow 0-25F. Did not attempt to start my car for about ten days but when I did the battery was...

That would probably be your alternator. The car doesnt take as much power to keep running as the lights. The lights use alot of power and if the battery is doing the alternators job it drains quickly. The battery is only designed to start the car then the alternator should take over and recharge the battery. When the alternator fails the battery will soon fail. Even though you had to jump the battery it was still new so it had a big charge. That is why you were able to drive so far. On an old battery and a jump I've seen people drive a long ways until they turn on their lights. I say 99.99% sure it's your alternator. Here is how you can test it. Get your car jump started again or charge your battery and start your car. While it is running get out and unhook the positive battery cable from the battery. If your car dies, you have found your problem(the alternator). I hope that I could be of some help. Good luck.

sounds like the head or head gasket is blown. your cylinders may be getting coolant in them which will not only cause the motor to lockup, but also cause bent rods and valves. check your oil dipstick and transmission dipstick to see if it looks like water or coolant is presant, also check the coolant to see if it smells like gas or has any kind of oil in it, if so, your head is likely blown.

Lost all electrical car died wont start

Will it start when you give it a jump or install a good battery? If it does the problem is your alternator. What most likely happened is the alternator quit working while you were driving and the car was relying on the battery directly to keep it going in which the battery completely lost power and shut the car off.
