My radio will not turn on. I also lost the alert

somehow I was the annoynmess person with the question about the door ajar and a seatbelt alarm that we disabled, and odometer quitting the radio stayed on well it was just a plug and the odometer speedometer all that works now, but the radio still stay on with a key out of ignition, and now the AC don't cool

The bcm controls that device for the addition of features like blue tooth and hands free, on-star etc.

IF the speakers are in the doors then the wiring harness in the door-jam is frayed, and you must cut the rubber to access the wires between the door and the door jam to get at the wires without taking the door apart.

I just reached under seat and found the wire connector that comes from seat buckle end and unplugged it.

Someone lose a cellphone? Could be a phone function for call message on the built-in sync. There is a speed alert function for going over a predetermined speed setting. There are traffic alert tones from the Mytouch Navigation. They even have an Alarm clock and interval Alert (every selected minutes). Could be a mileage count to tone after each passing mile.

Can be an alarm for regular service check. Otherwise, seatbelt alarm for passenger seat.

I only know of 2 possibbilities. You should find a find a wire connector under the drivers seat that will disable the alarm if unplugged. It will just have 2 wires. The other is to replace the radio with a non-standard one that has no module in it that rings the chime. You can raise the noise level by holding in the 6 button on the radio preset while turning the key on (without starting), ut I don't think you can turn it down...might be worth a try. Please do wear your seatbelt.

You must lock the doors first using the KeyFob - then press and hold the remote start button for 3-5 seconds.

To disable the seatbelt chime, you must either wear your seatbelt, install an aftermarket radio (as the chime plays through the speakers), or find a used one in a junkyard - cut off the seatbelt and plug it in - Chevy does not have an override... however it will only do it 3 times in 15 minutes - then stop bothering you.

Hi,welcome to fix ya. if this is a bose system you have a bad amp behind the rear seat they short out inside and cause the speakers to emit a high pich squeel. you can buy these amps on e-bay pretty cheaply or send it to bose for repair .
