Go to any auto parts store and you can use the meter to see what code it comes up with, The meter has the codes on it and will tell you why the check engine light is coming on.

SOURCE: 2005 honda accord diagnostic codes

you need to connect the car to a fault code reader this will tell you if an abs sensor is faulty and which wheel it is or if it is the abs unit

Check to make sure that your ABS wheel sensor is bolted firmly to the hub and that the wire that comes from it is plugged in properly. sometimes they look like they are plugged in but are not fully locked in.

I have a 2006 Honda CRV and the lights are lit up VSA, ABS and triangle. Was told the VSA needs to be replaced and that it is spendy. How much would it cost to have those to be turned off or reset

try resetting using a scan tool
get a good used one from the wreckers
as they all work of the wheel sensors for the ABS , check for wire or sensor failure
have the fault codes read to determine what sensor is failed

VSA,ABS,Brake,and triangle w/exclamation constantly on

Vsa,abs, and brake all work off of the same sensor. You have a problem with one of the following system. Vsa vehicle stability assist, abs anti lock brakes, or the brakes themselves. My guess is either the abs or vsa

Vsa,brake, abs linght on and D flashing when I turn on key

You need to have the vehicle scanned for fault codes and then the causes of those codes diagnosed.

You will need to have this car checked out by a professional with the right diagnostic equipment for Hondas. The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)***, brake and ABS warnings may just be due to a failed sensor or sensors but you need to have a proper diagnosis carried out so the causes can be identified and any failed parts replaced.

The flashing D light relates to the auto transmission and may well be a caused by a faulty sensor on the transmission or something else. The correct scanner should throw up any fault codes being generated. In the meantime if your Accord model has the engine bay filler tube and diptstick for the auto transmission , check your fluid level in the auto transmission.

2007 honda accord. VSA and ABS lights stay lit when the car is on. lights do not blink and the switch to turn on VSA doesn't do anything when pressed now.

VSA and ABS use anti-lock brake sensors to complete the calculation.

The first thing to check is to make sure all 4 of the ABS sensors are clean.

Go to your local car wash and clean the wheels first.
KEY OFF / then reconnect the VSA sensor.

Pull the OBDII and email it to me.

My '93 suzuki sidekick automatic transmission 4 wheel drive after warm up "overdrive off" starts flashing on and off and when on the drivetrain stops working

The O/D light's flashing means there is some kind of transmission trouble.

2006 Honda crv, vsa, abs, and triangle light are permanently on

You are talking about the VSA activation indicator (triangle with exclamation point in the middle):
This indicator has three functions:

It comes on as a reminder that you have turned off the vehicle stability assist (VSA) system.

It flashes when VSA is active.

It comes on along with the VSA system indicator (the rectangle with VSA in it) if there is a problem with the VSA system.

This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position, and when the ignition switch is turned to the START (III) position.

Hope this helps you understand the problem.
