To reset the message displays, turn the ignition switch on. Press and hold the odometer reset button "A" located below the speedometer. Turn off the ignition while holding the button. "OEL" will display on the indicator. Press and hold the lower digital clock reset button "B" until five dashes appear in the display. 4. let go of the "0.0" button and depress the "m" button on the left hand side of the display. this will re-set the service reminder. There is no confirmation on the display other than the words "service now" will disappear.
You can confirm that the service reminder has been reset, or check how many miles/days remain until service at any time by taking key out of the ignition and holding in the trip reset "0.0" button for between 3 and 5 seconds. The MFD will display miles and hours until next service. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?2457779-reset-service-indicator
It sounds like the "Time to Rest" indicator showing how much time you have left before the time to stop and rest based upon much trip time you put into your trip computer. Please refer to 2-23, Instruments and Controls, in the manual (link below) on how to configure the Alert options. http://www.infinititechinfo.com/refgh0v/og/infiniti/G37/2010-Infiniti-G37-Coupe.pdf
Labatche822,
The process for resetting your Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) is below.
Good luck, let me know.
Regards.
To reset (calibrate) the system:
1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Press the GAGE INFO button on the DIC until
TIRE PRESSURE appears on the display.
3. Press and hold the DIC RESET button for about five
seconds. After five seconds, the display will show
TIRE PRESSURE RESET. If TIRE PRESSURE
RESET does not appear on the display after about
five seconds, see your dealer for service. After you
release the DIC RESET button, TIRE PRESSURE
NORMAL will appear on the display.
The system completes the calibration process during
driving. During the first 10 to 25 miles (15 to 40 km) of
driving, the system will not alert you if a tire is high or
low. After 25 to 100 miles (40 to 160 km), the
system will only alert you about pressure differences of
12 psi (85 kPa) or more. After about 100 miles (160 km)
of driving, the system will alert you if one tire is
10 psi (69 kPa) different from the other three tires.
Probably based on miles... Any dealer or competent shop can re-set the alert... Have them show you where it is so you know for next time (usually under the dashboard on drivers side but they move that stuff around so much, I can't tell you where it is exactly on your vehicle)
