LOSS OF ACCELERATION

It can be fuel pressure issue or it's the problem with accelerator pedal or its clogged filters causing there.

There are many other possibilities. I suggest you to go through the list of help links mentioned below, these will help you to confirm where the actual fault lies: -------

have you changed fuel and air filter recently? plugs? ohmed out your plug wires? all these will cause problems like you are having and they are fairly cheap at your local auto parts. it is a chained engine but if possible check that if all else fails

2002 regal would slow down going up hills then

the catalytic converter most likely is no the sorurce of the problem, older design bead type Cat converters used to plug, but it is very rare on the newer ceramic honeycomb cats, u need to have the electronic engine control tested, are u getting a check engije light? if not has the fuel filter been replaced every 30,000 miles? also a part called the Mass Airflow sensor can cause these symptoms as well as igntion system problems.

Our 2002 crv starts to sputter going up hills,as if there is water in the gas. If the rpm is kept low ( under 2000) and the gas pedal is gently depressed it will keep going. If the gas pedal is depressed...

This can be Caused by Both the Fuel Pump and the Fuel Filter. If you have not Changed the Fuel Filter in a While, Try that First and see if it Helps Before going to the Fuel Pump. It is Easier and Cheaper that the Fuel Pump to Replace. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!
