My ford transit 02 plate had it a while now been running fine till the past 2weeks! Drives 100yards cuts out then has no problem starting drives 50 yards then cuts out again. Still having same problem

Your vehicle does not have a fuel cut off switch like past ford vehicles , has relay's and a fuel pump control module .

Jack up the rear wheels,fit safety jacks,Slask off the hand brake cable, press the foot brake a few times to center the shoes now adjust the shoes through the backing plate till the brakes lock up, then back off till the drums free,do both sides, pull the handbrake on three clicks, adjust the cable till the brakes just start to bind, release the hand brake and make the brake drums turn freely .

Probably not charging 14.2 volts or poor connections to or from battery.

You are low on transition fluid.

If the bumps were severe enough you might have tripped your fuel cut out inertia switch. This is designed to dis-engage the fuel pump in case of an accident. Your owners manual should point you in the location of the switch so as you can reset it. I am not familiar enough with the transit van to know the location myself, but you might try the passenger kick panel.

in the morning when I switch on the engine for the first time (after at least 12h of parking) in my ford focus 1.6tdci 05reg there is a noise coming out from under the bonnet on the driver side. it is getting worse when i start to move the steering wheel. after a 30 seconds and 100yards drive noise dissapears. would that ne a problem with the power steering pump...?? Cheers

Have the fuel pump checked it may be weak.

needs a recalibration at ford that should cure it

ive got a 55 plate 85 T260 swb crewcab 68000 miles, , i bought it 12 months ago, red light flashes on dash board most days, some times arratically, sometimes quite slow, and all clocks, speedo and dash does not work?????????
the smallest scratch and the van rusts, no under seal, there just a use it and dump it van.

i have a 2001y reg transit tipper and i think the starter motor is going when i go to start it like grinds then some times it starts perfect
