dont think you will find one as evan the new haynes books dont have wiring diagrams only block diagrams as with the wiring diagram you can bypass the factory immobiliser.which means less work for the dealer when the immobiliser cuts in for what ever reason

If you don't have a multi tester an easy way to find a constant power source is to take a 12v bulb and wrap the bared end of a piece of any kind of cable around the silver portion of the bulb. Tape it with duct tape or similar to prevent a short circuit. Attach the other end to a bit of unpainted bodywork or bracket. Remove the keys from the car. Now all you have to do is touch the centre lead terminal on the base of the the bulb with any of the wires you want to use the one that lights up the bulb is your No. 1 choice. Remember that the constant supply lead will need its own in line fuse.

The electrical components keep randomly failing in my 95 Pathfinder. I haven't had this vehicle very long and it seems the previous owner did a lot of janky things. How do I get the electrical things to...

First, I'm not an auto mech.
* Loose wires as intermintent operation is one of the hardest problems to troubleshoot.
* get a general wire diagram of your car.
* Note down each occurance of a power loss or drop.
* go back to diagram and starting from fuse box, trace out wires till coming to failing part.
* Your best bet is to start from one end of car and pull out each connection. Inspect for rust, damage, broken wires, and pins.
* keep following each cable bundle of wires and all the connections. Up to and including the end components;lighting, battery cables, started, etc.
* you will probably come across many areas where the wires were already removed and not put back in place properly. Check closely in these areas. Put every wire back where it should go. This way you know it's good.
* Normally I would tell you to check your warranty and call for service. But this sounds like an older model. (pre-computer) Well, at least you can check everything. The current 2018 cars won't let you under the hood.
* check you tube for your car and model. Lots of help vids available:

2001 grand am se1 factory radio wiring

The person asking this question has a PONTIAC GRAND AM SE, NOT a Grand Prix. (Not the same car).If you will go to any local auto parts store they will carry the repair manual for your car. The repair manual has the wiring diagram for all the wiring in your car in the back part of the manual. It will be called the HAYNES Auto Repair Manual for the year of your Pontiac Grand Am SE. I just dont understand how some people can be so ignorant as to excessively cut wiring out of a car when they dont even know what they are doing. Go figure. lol. If there is a college or a trade school in your area that has courses for auto mechanics , most of them repair cars also. They usually do not charge a labor charge, they only charge for the parts needed to repair a car and also a small shop fee. If this is the case in your area give them a call asap. They can help you. I used to have a 2002 Pontiac grand Am SE 1. I now have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE 1 and I am going to sell it. If you need any more help just respond back. Hope this helps.

I need a radio wiring diagram for a 1999 toyota corolla.. radio isn't working and want to find out if there is an inline fuse for the radio.. and where it may be. The previous owner installed an...

Pull out the radio from the dashboard and look for an inline fuse in the hot wire running to the unit -- very common with aftermarket systems. There usually isn't a "new" wire running to the battery.

Also, wires for aftermarket radios often aren't connected properly and come loose, which could be the cause of your problem.

You seem to have a handle on the problem .A wiring diagram will not indicate the location of the aux circuits. Any non original looking wiring should be disconnected from it's connecting point ie; tail lights to aux lights are usually a short distance from original wiring. CB radios are two core non original and easily from battery or fuse box. Don't go mad on the disconnect but take a long look at whats not the original fitment. let's know how you get on and the blowing fuses thing . Good luck

Original radio wiring harness

Google Volvo wiring diagram. They are available free. The diagram shows the wire location and colors. Otherwise, run a continuity test with a simple meter to discover a connection with some resistance between a pair of wires. If you here a click or two, from the speakers, you have found the right pair. Continue and label the pairs left, right, front, rear, until all are identified. Then reconnect. A pain but not rocket science.
