I start my car and place my foot on the aceleration pedal it just shut of like if it is not receiving any gas. what can possible be the problem? Could it be the VSS, or the ECA?

Could be dirty fuel filter, burnt fuel relay wires.
If neither of these then check the fuel pump pressure.

Clutch plate and pressure plate seem to be too weak to pull the car. To test the clutch plate, park the car on flat surface. Pull the hand brake up, start the car, depress the foot brake pedal, depress the clutch pedal, put the car in 1st gear, press the gas pedal and leave the clutch pedal at once, while keeping the brake pedal depressed.
Follow one of the two following statements:
1. Engine does not shut down and remain start. (Clutch plate, pressure plate and clutch bearing defective - Replace all as a set)
2. Engine shuts down. (Clutch system is OK and does not require any repair).

It sounds like its missing on one or more cylinders. I would check the plugs and wires if it has them.

What year? and model is it?

something wrong with the either teh stepper motor ofr the air flow meter ,best advice is to take it to a reputable garage and get them to plug it in a see whats wrong

three possible answers to look at ; fuel filter located at the back drivers side by the tank; throttle positiion sensor or crank position sensor[ worst case scenario fuel. pump is starting to fail. gas or fuel filter first; bring the car to advance or autozone for a free scan for trouble codes

is the gas pedal working the throttle on the engine?
make sure any cables and linkages are all ok from the pedal to the throttle.

Check and clean Idle air control valve. Make sure its responding to signal as well. Also make sure ther are no vacuum hoses disconnected. This may not be a "cure" but it's a good place to start.

Check along frame rail on passenger side under rear seat area.
