It sound like the rear lock is messed up. First thing to check is the fuse in the block under the hood. Many things are fused separate. If the fuse is good you must next check the circuit by removing the rear hatch panel and insuring you have power and ground at the lock actuator. If there is then it may be the lock actuator itself or you may have the rear gate locked out of the system. If that is the case, the dealer may have to unlock it in the computer system. If it has a key at the rear gate see if you can open it manually, sometimes that will re set it.

Will van run without liftgate locked?

Yes it will.

You may not be able to open the liftgate with the engine running, but you can start the engine after the lifgate has been opened.

X-Type Jag 2002 off side rear passenger door will not unlock. Cant open from inside or out.

Your rear door lock lever rod seems to have come off and is therefore not releasing the lock. You will have to open the inner door opener lever and try to somehow reach the place from where our lever rod has come off, manually release it, open the door, its inner door panel and put the rod back in its proper place.

Tailgate window won't open with remote or the button on the dash not getting voltage to the solinoid mounted in tailgate

sometimes wires located in the pass through between the vehicles body and the lifgate can break due to the constant opening and closing of the lifgate.. inspect wiring in this passthrough for breaks.

Rear passenger side door will not open

the problem would be the wiring on the door, possible a break in the wire, therefore the window and the central locking isnt working, possibly the earth wire is broken, open the front passenger door and u should see a sleeve connecting to the rear door, that is where the wiring to the door is, check ! also i would check the fuses. thanks

Iv got a Audi A3 sport when i lock my doors my alarm sound straight away and when iv got my doors open its says my boot is open and sumtimes when driveing my rear window wipper will constint wipe and...

as for the alarm sounding and the boot open info it is probably a faulty boot contact, so the alarm thinks the boot is open therefore the circuit is open on the alarm , the car is thinking it has been broken into. it will also come up on the driver info that your boot is open too.

1990 accord ex power door lock

I don't think is the modual control due to the fact if it would be your control modul then it would not open anyway either using your key to unlock. My feeling on this is that either your connection on your alarm is not sending the right voltage to the unit and therefore you are not getting the signal. I would check your connection in your alarm unit and then if that is not the problem, I will replace the modul. Hope it helps!
