Toyota Tacoma not starting, not power window, no radio

My 2008 Tacoma is having intermittent starting issue. I've noticed that when I turned the key to ACC the radio power and clock comes on as normal. However, sometime when I turned to on the power to the accessories cut out, no power to the heater either; which caused the truck not to start. When this happened I would have to try several times before it power up and starts normally. I've switched to spare key but it is still having the same issue. Any body has the same problem? Do you think it is the issue with the ignition switch?

Toyota tacoma headlight

Bulbs have filaments just like the ones in your home. A bulb is blown when the filament breaks. Sometimes filaments can break in a way that allows the two ends to reconnect via vibration or bumps. When this happens the bulb will light for an unknown amount of time. I can say it is not a fuse issue but could be a relay or switch issue. Your radio could be shorted as they receive voltage from the headlamp switch making them illuminate at night, I would not think that would be very likely though.

2006 tacoma whining noise

I never suggest flushing a trans

Just remove the pan & clean

If you want most of the fluid out,
drive it a week or so then drain again.

I suspect the noise is the trans pump,
but don't know exactly how any dirt sediment
flushed into it would cause a noise

check battery ground for loose fitting, check fuse & relay,check voltage going to starter, check battery condition

Turn key to start and nothing

Not if you left your headlights on all night and completely drained the battery. if it is dead, try to jump it, if you get some sort of power with the jumpers attached, go buy a new battery.

Need to remove ignition switch

remove shroud
insert key into ignition turn to acc you will see a hole at the underneath of ignition housing with key on push in pin and pull switch out
