Could be low on antifreeze. at a higher rpm it will produce heat. but at an idle it cannot circulate the antifreeze properly. check it and fill to proper level. hope this corrects your problem.

Need heater hoses diagram for 1996 Ford Ranger 3.0

Hooking up the heater hoses wrong would not cause your problem. I would make sure the system is full of coolant and has no air pockets, and then check the blend door under the dash.

My 2005 chevy avalanche only blows cold air until i drive then when I stop cold air Agian

One of two things has happened. Either your coolant has gotten really low (easy enough to check) or you heater core is starting to plug up.

Air conditioner

You are saying the blower motor stops when the truck stops moving ?
Or the blower motor doesn't work and the only air you get thru the vents is outside air when the truck is moving ?

Heater just stopped working in 1996 explorer what can i look at or what could it be?

im not sure if you mean the blower is'nt working or if you mean the blower is working but the air is cold so I'll try to answer both, if the blower is'nt working it is possibly a bad fuse, the fuse panel may list it as the heater or it may say blower, now if its blowing but the air is cold it is most likely a bad thermostat, sometimes the heater core goes out but if you havnt noticed the window fogging on the front windshield on the passenger side or smelled coolant in the cab of the vehicle the heater core is probably fine , the thermostat is a common culprit and they are fairly easy to change, one other thing before you go changing anything, check to make sure the radiator is full, with the car cool take the radiator cap off and run the car until it starts to get warm and see if you can add some coolant

My truck is blowing cold air, on

Heater core would be your best bet, also check to make sure that the door inside the ductwork is actually moving from the cold air side the the hot air side. If you have the manual lever you should be able to feel it moving, if it's vacuum operated you should hear the air flow change as the door is moved.

My blower only works on setting 123 + air con not that cold

You have a resistor array assembly going out. What you described is typical of the first resistor going out and over loading the second, which goes out and overloads the third. Replace the HVAC resistor array. Don't buy a used one. Spend the extra money on the new OEM dealer item. Good luck to you.

Ford taurus Wagon 2001 heater problem

Check your coolant level. If the antifreeze is low the water pump may not be able to pump enough of the coolant through your heater core. When the car runs faster it is able to pump more of the warm antifreeze to the heater core.
