My 2005 sienna does not have a serpentine belt. it has two belt system. what is the easiest way to remove and replace these belts. i have changed belts on motors the face the front but not the side

The alternator belt can be changed from the top, the ps belt is best done from the bottom with the tire removed.
The alternator should have an adjusting bolt and the ps has an adjusting bracket. You loosen the bolts for the alternator and ps pump then use the adjusting bolts to tighten the new belts.

I am trying to change my 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage (w/ ac) alternator belt. I loosened the tensioner, took out the top - bottom and inside bolt of the ac compressor to take off the first belt and even took...

BEFORE ADJUSTING THE ALTERNATOR BELT DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE OR YOU MIGHT BLOW AN EXPENSIVE HIDDEN FUSE.
I would replace the steering pump belt at the same time you do the alternator belt (buy both).
To take off the alternator belt .
First , take off the negative battery cable so you do not blow an expensive fuse on the positive battery cable clamp(or a block fuse under the hood). Facing the back of the automobile , reach UNDER the alternator and loosen the bolt on the bottom right side, now loosen the bolt on the adjuster block on top, you can now turn the adjuster bolt and move the alternator to change the belt.
To take off the steering pump belt on the front of the motor, you need to loosen the nut on the back side of the pulley (right side of pump mount), the nut holds the adjuster pulley in place . With the adjuster pulley nut loose , you can use the adjuster bolt to move the pulley to adjust/take off the steering pump belt.

First take off the negative battery cable or blow the alternator fuse, facing the back of the car reach UNDER the alternator and loosen the bolt on the bottom right side, now loosen the bolt on the adjuster block on top, you can now turn the adjuster bolt and move the alternator to change the belt. If you need to change the steering pump belt on the front of the motor, you need to loosen the nut on the back side of the idler pulley it holds the adjuster pulley in place . Then you can use the adjuster bolt to move the pulley to adjust the belt. Do not forget to tighten the pulley nut when finished.

How do you loosen starter motor to change the fan belt

There is not starter motor located in the fan belt location. you probably refer to the alternator. There are 2 bolts to hold the alternator to the chassis bracket. Loosen both of them, one for pivot and the other for belt adjuster. When you can wigle the alternator then you can take the belt off. Good luck.

Need to change alternator belt on 2005 dodge neon.

First you need to take off the other belt. Turn the tentioner (2), usually a 3/8 ratchet, and remove the belt.

Second, you need to loosen the alt tension bolt, almost straight down from the (1). Push alternator toword motor and remove belt. Installation is the opposite.

Hope that helps

1990 new yorker alternator replacement

You are right about removing the motor mount. You have to support the engine with a jack. Use a piece of plywood between the jack and the oil pan. Remove the motor mount and you should be able to lift the engine up about 2-3 inches with the jack. Remove the serpentine belt and then you should have enough room to remove the alternator.
