No , there is not a fuse just for the speedometer,There are fuse's for the whole instrument cluster . The speedometer gauge is probably bad , GM - pontiac , buick , chevy , cadillac , oldsmobile ,GMC ,had problems with the stepper motor that controls the instrument cluster gagues ! How to repair GM Instrument Cluster Speedometer Gauge Stepper Your best bet is to have it diagnosed ,need a factory scan tool to diagnose it .
Nope. The speedometer needs a signal from the vehicle speed sensor to operate. Is the check engine light on? If so, scan for any codes that may indicate a VSS problem. If no codes, possible internal cluster issue with the speedometer head

You headlight lamp have a diffuser mechanism which allows it to flip between the hight beam and low beam feature of the bulb. In fact, you high beam will function even if the low beam is not working.
I would recommend the purchase of the new headlight lamp. It would cost you you any where from $15.00 per unit to get a replacement lamp

If the speedo isn't working properly, the first thing to check is the output speed sensor wires on the rear right side (near the bar code) of the tranny case. Follow the wires and make sure it hasn't been cut, pinched or shorted.
If all is well there, take the output speed sensor off. Watch out cause you'll get wet with tranny fluid (Dexron 6). (Be ready to plug it up.) If there are no metal chips or debris on the magnet inside, check it with an ohmeter on the two pins to see what the reading is. It should be around 6 to 10 ohms. If it's not steady, get a new one. Make sure the pins are clean on the connectors.
Apply some white or build grease around the shaft and "O" ring and re-install. Don't overtighten. The bolt is a "tap-tite" and should need only about 5 or 6 ft/lbs torque. (Run it in and give the bolt a quarter turn.)

SOURCE: 2004 Pontiac Montana Brake Lights, Pwr Window and Cruise all Quit
The cruise control stopped working on my 2002 Montana. I googled this and several places kept indicating the brake lights. I thought they were OK also because the top bar came on when you step on the pedal. However, the side lights did not get brighter. Turns out I had both bulbs bad, they have two elements. Once that was fixed the left turn signal flashed very fast when tested and that was a bulb in the front that went bad. Before I was done one headlight went out from a bad bulb and I replaced that too. Finally got to test it out, and lo and behold, the cruise control now works.....
