My car wont start it turns over but cuts out and on some occasions wont even turn over

Have you checked the fuel filters for restrictions ?

Does it turn over and not start, or doesn't it even do that?

It shouldn't matter if the key is the original or not it has been programmed to the car immobiliser, have you changed the batteries in the key, a low battery can cause the key and immobiliser not to communicate, did you take it to a ford garage, Main dealers are always the best to deal with especially when ECU and immobilisers are involved, there may even be a software update for your car that addresses this issue, may even need a new key but they are expensive, don't buy off eBay they won't work, hope this helps

May have to replace the key lock cylinder for the ignition. Do you have any other original spare keys that might work better?

Ignition module wont keep if from turning over. Check the battery and terminals. you have to start at the beginning.

is engine turning over but not starting and running? if so I suspect the timing belt has failed, if this is the case it will have caused engine damage

Check the battery, it sounds like it's flat. Try charging the battery to see if it recovers, but if the battery is about 3 years old or more it is likely to have failed and replacement is the only viable solution.

hi mate i think the other chap is talking about the fuel cut off switch which is behind the center console have you lost fuel or spark i think you have a 2.0 petrol engine i would look at dizzy cap and arm then check valve timing has not jumped cheers furry

try different speaker if works .its the speaker. if another speaker does the same .your radio is the problem.
