If the air bag light is on there is a problem with the air bag. The light means the air bags will not deploy in an accident. Only a qualified tech should work on air bags.

2002 lincoln ls horn radio controls cruise control wiring diagram dont work

I'll guess that your air bag light is on as well? Sounds Like you need a new clockspring in the steering wheel. This device replaced the old copper slip rings when air bags come out.

2002 lincoln ls air bag light flashes 3times for 5 times in a row

The light can flash a two digit code - try counting the flashes between a pause.
You will need to get the system scanned and cleared once the repairs are made.

Air bag light on insturment panel rewmains on,

I have the same problem on my 2001 LS. I found that the air bag computer is under the driver's seat, and when they installed it at the factory the wires that connect to it are to short. When the seat is moved all the way forward or back the wires are pulled or ripped from the computer. The connections are a special locking type, so you must replace them with the OEM Lincoln part. I think that Lincoln has an updated repair kit to fix this problem, so you should call your Lincoln Dealer's parts dept.

My son got in his 2002 Lincoln LS(V8) and his Airbag light came on and stays on. Can you tell me how to get it off or if this is a serious problem.

All airbag systems have a computer, or controller that looks at resistance. If you have an issue, the light goes on. You need to get the air bag system "scanned" to see what the issue is.

2002 lincoln ls...front air bag indicator light stays on after flashing 3 times...sensor prob?...dai5190

You will have to get the airbag code read to be sure but I have had to replace the clockspring in my steering wheel and also the airbag wiring harness under the passenger seat on my 2002 Lincoln LS, all in less than one year. If you or someone you know can help you remove the seat you can do the wiring harness yourself, it is a simple clip.

My 2002 Lincoln Continental Check air bag light is flashing on dash. When someone heavy sits in the passenger seat is goes off. May be a coincidence. Is there a warranty?

Sounds like you need your occupant classification system checked. It may be sensing weight in the seat when there isn't any. Sorry, but your warranty ran out a long time ago.

Air bag light is on... The str wheel controls r never correct

You have a bad clock spring. This is located behind the steering wheel and all electrical functions from steering wheel must go thru it. Pretty common problem on this model. The steering wheel and the steering column trim would have to be removed to replace it.
