What nighmare of links and posts. wow.

OP, what does can't mean (50lbs of leg force and pedal will not move? that?
where are car keys
is engine running or not
if it fails 50lbs key off tests
possible
1: clutch is jammed,
2: throwout bearing got red not and fused to shaft.(common)
the mc/slave are real bad in some odd way
the MC , some "bad-guy" put windshield washer fluid
in the MC filler, and its cold today and the clutch fluid
now fluid is wrecked, and is ice frozen.
put finger in fluid filler hole, lid off, is it frozen? (easy stuff here)

3:the clutch disc can jam, to its spline.
only 2 causes.
1: ice in mc, (only happens at quack lube)
2:cluch is bad.

if the mc is not full of ice
car needs to be sent to any mechanic.

simple said problem is inside the bell housing, cluch
not outside ,easy,
some have coax slave. my 88 and 93 had coax slave.
means no on outside of bell (easy fix)

you dont need to read 100 forum pages on slip, chatter, grab, or other posts
only JAMMED up . pedal.
there are only 2 cause.
besides pedal its self.(rare)
unbolt the MC on the fire wall, pedal move now,
bingo pedal linkage ok.
if not pedal system jammed.

Need a clutch pedal diagram for a 1999 s10 2.2 4cyl manual trans

Sorry no diagram. But here is how it works. In the start position(Power) the wire goes to the start fuse, from the fuse it goes to the clutch pedal switch. Push the pedal and it goes to the starter relay. On the other end is ground. If it is good it pulls the relay closed. On the closed end is battery power to the starter.

My friend had clutch replaced 6 mths oago and now clutch is not engaging is there anyway to check hydraulics without removing tranny?

Check clutch fluid level in clutch master cylinder for proper level. You can also watch the slave cylinder move at the transmission where it pushes on the clutch fork. The slave cylinder should move when the clutch pedal is depressed. If the cylinder does not move, suspect a defective master cylinder/slave cylinder/air in system that will require bleeding. If all moves, suspect tranny removal for inspection

I have a 2000 mazda 323 with a manual transmission. i have already change the clutch kit but the gear is still hard to shift

Check the hydraulic clutch operation. This is a clutch master cylinder with a reservoir on the firewall, and a clutch slave cylinder down on the bell housing of the transmission, with a steel tube running from the master to the slave cylinder. When clutch pedal is depressed, hydraulic fluid (brake fluid) is forced from the master to the slave. The slave cylinder should push out a little plunger that contacts the clutch fork lever-pushing it forward to engage the clutch.
Add brake fluid to the reservoir if needed. Watch the plunger on the slave cylinder: if it moves little, or not enough, try bleeding the slave from the bleeder valve. They are bled just like brakes. If bleeding doesn't help, your clutch master or the slave may need replacing. The master cylinder, like a brake master, has internal seals that hold hydraulic pressure, so force can be applied to the plunger on the slave cylinder.

Clutch not engaging

Well, it would shift easily with engine off, because the transmission input shaft is not turning. Engine running and clutch engaging good, the input shaft would again be stationary and allow smooth shifting.
What you have to determine is if the clutch disc or pressure plate is bad (a new clutch is needed), or if the pedal hydraulic system has a malfunction. When you push the pedal down, a rod from the top of pedal pushes into the clutch master cylinder bolted to the firewall under the hood. This cylinder has a reservoir filled with brake fluid. When the rod forces fluid from the clutch master down a steel line and into the clutch slave cylinder down on the transmission bell housing, the hydraulic pressure forces a plunger from the slave cylinder to extend and push the clutch fork lever a small amount, enough to force the clutch release bearing (aka throw-out bearing) against the pressure plate. This relieves pressure on the clutch disc and input shaft becomes stationary for easy shifting.

Manual Transmition, While driving the clutch pedal went right to the floo and stayed down. I lifted the pedal with my foot and with a light touch i pushed down on the pedal and it it began a grinding sound...

the slave cylinder on the trans works just like a brake cylinder, when fluid pressure is applied it flows into the cylinder and pushes against a clutch fork which engages a throw out bearing against the clutch pressure plate fingers. a couple things could have happened. I think your trans is fine but im sure the clutch fork or the pressure plate broke. I'm sorry but the trans is gonna have to be pulled. best wishes

Tdi clutch pedal pushed all the way down but hard to shift gears

Check your clutch fluid level, sometimes a seperate reservoir (drivers side on firewall), some clutch systems take fluid from the brake system (check brake fluid). If thats ok then the clutch slave may be failing.
If the clutch fluid is low refill it and check for leaks (or just wait till the symptom comes back). If it's happens often then theres a leak in the line or the slave somewhere.
