SOURCE: no spark 350 chevy tbi

You need power on both sides of the coil with key on engine off. With test light on neg side of coil you should get flashing light with engine cranking. No flashing indicates no trigger from ign module. No flashing can also mean the pick-up is faulty. To check pick-up dissconnect from module and use analoge meter set on ohms.Check meter movement during crank. If o/k check rotor for burn through.and change module.

That eliminates the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Have you checked the fuel injector itself for an open winding or stuck valve plunger? There should not be a steady 12 volts to the injector--if good injector, it would be spraying fuel steadily into the throttle body. But at least the engine should try to run if poorly. Take the injector out, dry it off with air, and intermittently apply 12 volts to one terminal while grounding the other. You should hear a click from inside every time you touch 12 volts. If not, replace it. If it does, it may be plugged with debris. Try blowing through it in reverse with compressed air.

87 chevy s10 blazer vaccum lines

The vacuum lines on a 1987 Chevy S10 Blazer are responsible for routing vacuum to various components such as the brake booster, EGR valve, and other systems.
A vacuum line diagram for your specific make and model of Chevy S10 Blazer can be found in the vehicle's service manual or in some cases, it can be found under the hood on a decal or sticker.
If the vacuum lines are loose, cracked, or damaged, it can cause various issues such as rough idle, stalling, poor performance, or even a failed emissions test.
It's best to consult the service manual, a professional mechanic or the dealer for proper diagnosis and repair of vacuum lines issues. These lines are crucial for the proper operation of many systems in the vehicle, so it's important to fix them as soon as possible if they are found to be damaged.

I have a 1994 Blazer S10 4.3 Votex 6 cyl It was running rough like not running on all the cylinders, We have changed plugs, plug wires, ERG, O2 sensor it still is running rich what can we do now?

You may have an injector hanging up or a vacuum leak. To check injectors, pull the electrical connector from each individual injector while the engine is running. Each onre should cause a skip in the engine when the connector is removed, if one does'nt, then that is your faulty injector. To check for a vacuum leak, simply spray WD-40 around all the vacuum hoses and listen for the engine to change speed. If it does concentrate on that area and sprayy more heavily until you can pinpoint the leak. Good luck and let me know if this was helpful.Don't but any more parts till we speak again, promise? okay Thanks Dana.

Why is my 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer lugging? motor shakes and lugs.

Could be vacuum leak or bad ignition wire(s).

I had a similar problem on my "93 Ford probe. The engine idled pretty rough with shakes, Turned out to be a head gasket leaking engine coolant into the cylinder during low rpm's. At fast rpm's it was fine becuase the internal cylinder pressure was greater than the hot coolant pressure & would prevent the coolant from leaking in.

A friend has the same problem with his "94 Blazer 4.3 L, throttle body injection, manual tranny. He hasn't fixed it yet, It started a few weeks ago & is getting worse. His gets a fast idle with hiccups which causes the engine shake. He already checked the EGR valve. He also has a severe exhaust problem, Not oilly but very gray & terrible smelly, but only when the fast idle problem happens. THis fast idle hiccup problem starts when the engine is warmed up.
