Hi Manuel:
Is it possible to open the hood?
If so, you should be able to attach jumper cables (Alternator or Relay?) to get the switches powered up. I'm assuming the trunk latch is electrical.

I have 1997 Jaguar XJR months back i parked valet, so i used the valet button inside the center console. since then i can not open my trunk with the key or the dash button. now my battery is dead PLEASE...

You have to reconfigure your fob via your valet button, this will enable the bootlock to recognise the singnal from dash button. I know your battery is dead, start it with a booster or jump leads, take for a good run and then when you think your battery has enough juice try to reconfigure. hope this helps, Jonjo.

Trunk release problem - Trunk will not unlock. (2004 Jaguar XJR)

First, check your fuse panel and see if you have a blown fuse. Replacing it will resolve the issue.

If not, fold down back seat and pull the emergency cable located near the key hole.

1999 Jaguar XJR - Dead battery and can't get in locked trunk

It takes a deal of time and patience to charge via the cigarette lighter socket though there should soon have been enough power to open the boot.

It should be possible to access the end of the main battery lead in the engine compartment in order to jump start the engine, provide power to open the boot or to charge the battery, if the battery is healthy enough to accept a charge. Some cars with a remote battery provide terminals for the purpose though I don't know whether the Jag does. If it doesn't the main battery cable terminates at the starter motor.

1995 jaguar xj6 dead battery and can't open trunk. please help,

I simply opened the bonnet. Connected the battery charge positive to the + feed on the back of the alternator, connected the negative to the body. Turned it on, immediately the interior light comes on. Turn on the ignition press the cabin boot switch and it opens the boot. Charge battery as normal. Easy Peezy

1995 jaguar xj6 dead battery and can't open trunk. please help,

I f it is like the XJR, the cig lighter is electrically switched and will not work. Find the hot point and and ground in the passenger side heelboard. The ground is two wires together scewed to the body an the hot point was a bolt attacted to a large wire and covered with a black rubber boot.
