The air filter will filter the air going into the engine and is located in the engine compartment. The cabin filter filters the are entering the passenger compartment and is located behind the glove box. The other filter would be the fuel filter, It is typically located or mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment.

Want to save yourself some money and change the cabin filter on your 2003 and newer Honda Accord? The dealer will charge you up to $120 to perform this simply 5 minute or less repair which should be done every 30,000 miles at the same time you change the engine air filter. It will cost you nothing more than the price of the cabin filter. Go to any local Auto Repair store in your area and purchase a cabin filter for your Accord. I recommend Purolator or Wix filters as they are quality made. The filter is located behind the glove box and unlike some older Honda Accords is very easy to access and no tools are required to accomplish this repair. Simply watch this video I made and you will know exactly how to accomplish this maintenance.
The two air cabin filters are located below the glove box, and hidden behind the dashboard knee panel. They are quite difficult to reach. Search elsewhere on fixya for replacement procedure, i think i posted the instructions. Keep me posted
Open the glove box. Remove the damper from the glove box then let the
glove box hang down. Remove the dust and pollen filter assembly from the evaporator case. Remove the filter from the housing, and replace the filter.

To change cabin air filter on Acura TL firs time you need to open the glove box and then remove the arm that holds the glovebox. Press the 2 sides of the glovebox to take this out like in picture bellow. Acura TL 2004-2010 cabin air filter location After do this you can see and locate the cabin air filter housing cover. Acura TL 2004-2010 cabin air filter housing cover Push the 2 tabs from the filter frame to unhooking from the housing cover. Take the frame out and replace the old cabin air filter with the new one with the air flow indicating arrow pointing down.
