2003 Nissan Sentra Revolution Sensor location

Did you test electrical circuit's before replacing the sensors ? Do you know how they work , where battery voltage comes from ? May only be 5 volt ref. voltage from the transmission control module .
DTC P0720 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR·A/T (REVOLUTION SENSOR) Revision: May 2004 2003 Sentra TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE MEASURED BETWEEN EACH TERMINAL AND GROUND Diagnostic Procedure ECS005X0 1. CHECK INPUT SIGNAL (WITH CONSULT-II) With CONSULT-II 1. Start engine. 2. Select "TCM INPUT SIGNALS" in "DATA MONITOR" mode for "A/T" with CONSULT-II. 3. Read out the value of "VHCL/S SE·A/T" while driving. Check the value changes according to driving speed. OK or NG OK >> GO TO 3. NG >> GO TO 2. 2. CHECK REVOLUTION SENSOR (WITH CONSULT-II) With CONSULT-II 1. Start engine. - Check harness for short or open between TCM, ECM and revolution sensor. The crankshaft position sensor (POS) is located on the oil pan facing the gear teeth (cogs) of the signal plate. It detects the fluctuation of the engine revolution.
After replacement, ECM reprogramming is required.
This vehicle may be subject to voluntary recall, CAMPAIGN I.D. # R0606, that involves the crankshaft position sensor:

Quote: Nissan has determined that on some 2003 - 2004 Altima and Sentra vehicles with the 2.5 liter engine the operation of the crank angle sensor is significantly affected by variations in temperature that occur due to the unique location of the sensor in the engine. Under certain driving conditions, these variations in temperature can be large enough to cause a brief interruption in the signal output from the sensor. If the interruption in the signal from the sensor is so brief that the Electronic Control Module (ECM) logic does not have time to diagnose the condition, the engine may stop running without warning while the vehicle is driven at low speed.

The IAT on the 1.8 engine is located in driver side follow before the air box and you will see a sensor thats the intale air temp sensor, hope that helps

Engine coolant temp sensor should be on the drivers side of the engine block. Follow your top radiator hose from the radiator to the engine block. near that you should see a sensor (it has a clip on it where the wires attach).

theres always one on the intake manifold working its way down to catalytic convertor is the oxygen sensor 1 heater circuit(pre cat conv) signal while terminal #25 is oxygen sensor 2 heater circuit (post cat conv)

THE CRANK SENSOR IS ON THE TRANSMISSION BELL HOUSING.

crank sensors are usually located in/near the distributor.

Chances are it is not the coolant temp sensor. The sensor is located right above the alternator, if you have the smaller engine. I wouldn't touch the sensor if you don't have a check engine light on.
