Chryslers are equipped with a LIMP mode. When there is an issue with the engine or trans this will allow you to limp home.

I would be looking at a shorted blower resistor it is located behind the glove box on the HVAC housing. Prob the switch contacts with a 12 volt test light if the bulb intesity does not change the blower resistor is bad. The resister is at fault about 99% of the time.

SOURCE: oil sending unit on 2004 chrysler sebring V6

Should be located close to the oil filter. It will screw in like a spark plug. It has a harness plug. Easy to change, save yourself $70 in labor. You will need a fairly large wrench to remove

SOURCE: 2004 chrysler sebring idle speed is too slow. HOw

why do you want your rpms higher while idling? you don't want them high because your gas bill will reflect that. slow shouldn't matter but if it's dying while on idle it could either be your mass air flow sensor or your fuel filter being clogged

If 360 km per hour is equal to 40 miles per hour, please show me how to calculate using formular

360 km/hr is NOT 40 miles/hr.
1 mile is about 1.6 km
To go from km to miles, multiply by 0.62
To go from miles to km, multiply by 1.6

Kilometers per hour to Miles per hour

Car wont go 30 mph

if when you get to 30 miles per hour the rpms are excessively high then the 3rd gear on you're transmission is out. you can try changing the transmission filter and fluid but most likely will not help and you will have to replace the transmission or have it rebuilt anyways. I'm assuming its an automatic transmit ion and therefore if high rpms at 30 miles per hour its sadly the transmission

Get the codes pulled, sounds like you are in limp mode and I am guessing an issue with the transmission.

2005 545i bmw sputtering at 40 miles per hour

So, here's what you have to do - it's a frikkin tranny reset!!

Drive in manual mode M5 for 5 minutes at over 60MPH, then switch it to M6 for 1 minute, then back to M5 for 2 minutes, then back to auto.
Note: the car is going to sputter continuously when you have it on M5 for the 5 minutes.

That was it - drove around for 30 minutes afterwards and no issues what so ever!! Unbelievable!!!

Loses pressure when driving forward and backwards. It won't go any faster than 25 miles per hour

Sounds your catatylic converter is clogged. You will need to have the exhuast pressure tested.Or the next time you drive it for a little while stop and look under at the converter to see if its cherry red. Also put your hand behind tail pipe and feel how much pressure is coming out at idle.

My 97 accord would only go 30 miles per hour but the rpm s were going to the red line. the engine was reving on it's own. what could be wrong

Jennifer,
The problem is in your transmission [automatic transmission] or clutch [standard transmission] Check the level of the fluid in an automatic transmission. Check for proper free play in the clutch of a manual transmission.

Intermittently the car will not go over 25-30 miles per hour with the accelerator floored. Other times, the car bounces really badly as if it had a blown front tire (not) or totally worn out shocks (

Hi I am Vortash have seen this fault twice with a different reason each time .. first on was the cam sensor giving the wrong information to the Engine management Unit ... second one was the EMU itself the plug had become dirty and corroded and a clean solved the problem .. with the cam sensor ..was replaced and the fault cured .. The way I found the fault was with a fault code reader an invaluable tool that has saved me many hours of unnecessary work ... regards Vortash

How many gallons per hour does this car lose?

hey
at the begging u should clarify how many gallon u used.
112 miles at 28 miles per gallon --> 4 gallons burned (112/28)
So that means we leaked 11 - 4 = 7 gallons

Now figure out how long the car was driving.
112 miles at 64 miles per hour --> 1.75 hours

So, leak was at a rate of 7 gallons in 1.75 hours
7/1.75 = 4 gallons per hour leaked.
