Had car two months went in for serpentine belt (noisy) came out with steering groaning/droaning, the fitted new pump & aftermarket rack, still groaning? Help.
Hi, it sounds like the steering pump needs looking at or a new replacement pump will have to be fitted.

Next day there was power steering fluid leaking onto the drive, checked fluid level bottle was nearly empty,one of the rubber steering gators was ripped in half the other was twisted badly (probably when they done tracking) anyway the garage took it away again said the new rack was cracked & supposedly fitted another recon/rack. It's still making the groaning noise when turning the steering side to side. This is a big Ford garage (bought car there) at the moment I have hair but soon will have none Grrrr.
