HOW DO I REMOVE A STUCK SLAVE CYLINDER FROM MY 1993 FORD ESCORT LX.1.9?
Hi Paula:
Assuming that it has failed and is being replaced, there's no need to be overly gentle.
Remove the fluid delivery tube by undoing the connector.
Remove the bolt(s) that secure the cylinder.
It should now be able to be removed with a couple of delicate taps from a ball pein hammer, or some gentle prying with a screw driver.
Cheers,

Hi Paula:
Here's the link to a video for a typical clutch slave cylinder removal.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-U_QEn4...
Once you've disconnected the supply tube and taken the mounting bolts off, there should be nothing holding it in place.
Have a look and get back to me if you still are having a problem.
