Depends on the cause.
Blow-by is when oil blows by the rings in the cylinders into the combustion chambers or compression blows by the rings into the crankcase. It can also be caused when too much pressure builds up in the crankcase because of a venting problem.
So blow-by can cause smoke out the tailpipe from oil burning with gasoline, or oil collecting in the air cleaner, or blowing out a seal or other place like your dipstick tube.
If it is caused by worn piston rings, the rings have to be replaced.
If it is a venting problem, you need to open up the vent, like the PCV valve or the air intake port.
If you remove the cap where you add oil and there is a vacuum when the engine is running, the venting system is working. If oil blows out the hole, there is too much pressure in the crankcase.

Oil dipstick

If the oil is drained, and refilled to the manufacturers recommended capacity, get any dipstick that will fit and register the oil, then make a mark on that stick at the oil level. D.I.Y. replacement. Not having a dipstick does not stop you from changing the oil, contaminated oil will do more damage, than a little to much oil.

Oil dipstick breaking

Most likely it is not. There should be a PCV valve that lets the pressure off, if it is bad or missing, that would cause the crank case to build up pressure and blow oil out. First though be sure that there is no leaks in the heads or gasket and that there is not too much oil in the engine. The dipstick tube should not extend all the way into the oil reservoir and let oil out.

Engine oil light on at idel goes off when driving comes on at stops

Check oil level on dipstick. Check for loose connection on oil pressure sender unit. Have the oil pressure checked using a master gauge.

2000 ford excursion...when i go over 65mph the transmission starts 2 leak & i see a trail of smoke behind me...now i need a new dipstick housing because it just broke half way up....could it be leaking...

Sounds plausible that if the dipstick housing is broken, has a crack or hole that fluid could come out and drip on the exhaust manifold causing smoke. This works similarly to an oil dipstick, if you check the fluid cold and notice where the oil is on the dipstick then start the vehicle and shut if off and check the fluid again the oil will be higher on the dipstick (pressure).

I hope this helps!

My oil light comes on when I stop and goes off when I press the gas and start back driving.

Check and verify that your oil level is full on your engine oil dipstick, if its low add oil until its in the safe area of the dipstick, if your oil is full and your still having this problem, the problem is most likely a faulty oil pressure switch, replace the switch and your oil light problem should be fixed...

Engine oil coming out dipstick and engine has no power

sounds like you have a broken piston ring(no compession and blowback up the dipstick)the only answer is an engine rebuild.(bottom end.)

My low oil pressure light has been coming on when I stop at a signal or stop sign, but than goes off when I start driving, I just had my oil changed a week ago

It sounds like your engine is low on oil. When you get home, turn your engine off, wait 5 minutes, the pull the dipstick and wipe it clean and re-insert fully, then pull the dipstick out again and look at the end of it; you will see the recommended level etched into the dipstick, if the oil level shows low (and it's a good bet it will), you need to add oil...and never use that shop again.

If the level is normal, the oil pressure sender may be faulty...ask your mechanic to check it and replace it if necessary.

Oil in the intake manifold air hose...

This is usually an indication of "blowback" caused by worn piston rings. How many miles on the engine? There is not a cheap solution if it is blowback.

Oil pressure

sounds like your just low on oil. check the level of oil on the dipstick and make sure its within specifications. if your low, add oil untill it is at the full mark on the dipstick.
