What would be wrong when my car has gas, but no spark?

Santa Fe won't start. Has new plugs, plug wires and coils. It is getting gas, but not fire/spark.

Cylinder 3 misfire on 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe

sometimes the fuel injector can be out of range but this would give a trouble code.
then check spark plug to see if it is wet or fouled.
check plug wire for external sparks.
last check the coil pack.

Got a check engine light? Get the codes read to find out if the misfires are on all cylinders or just 1. Could be ign coil, bad crank or cam sensor, or a valve issue

I have a 2006 Hyndai santa fe and it stalls out or sputters when idleing.

It sounds like a cam Or crank sensor problem (which controls the coils) I can only advise u from here to find a new CAR GUY. Good luck

Where does the spark come from on a 2002 santa fe 4 cyl.

On your Santa Fe, each spark plug has it's own "coil". the computer sends a signal to the coil at the precise moment that it needs to provide power for the spark plug.

How do you get to the spark plugs 2005 hyundia santa fe

There's a plastic cover on the valve cover, remove small bolt's holding cover, under cover will be two coil pack, and a total of 4 spark plug wire's, remove small bolts to coil pack, will have two bolts to each coil pack, disconnect elec. harness, remove coil pack, spark plugs will be in there.

Changing spark plugs

You most likely have a big cover over the engine that is covering everything up. If you can get that off (sorry, I've never removed one) you should be able to see the plug wires/coil on plugs, whichever the vehicle has. 4 or either 6 depending on the number of cylinders. You may just see black rubber looking caps. Plugs are under them.

2001 Hyundai Santa Fe Ignition coils & EGR Valve

Well I went ahead and took a go at changing the coils, plugs and wires yesterday. It literally took maybe 15 minutes and my hands didn't even get dirty. This is something that the auto place wanted to charge me 650 to do. I spent 200 on parts. I didn't realize the coils were the things sitting on top of the spark plugs. I think my 4 year old could've done it. All I had to do was unbolt the coils detach the wires and then replace. It was too simple.
