SOURCE: fuel pump relay

I was just looking for another fuse and came across this diagram and it shows every fuse and relay and where it goes. The Fuel Pump Relay is in the O slot in the fuse box under the hood which is located near the battery. it is a 20 amp mini fuse. Hope this helps, i saved the link for future use if i need it, might be a good idea for you too. Good Luck here is the link.....

SOURCE: 91 ford mustang 5.0 fuel pump and relay is working

How do you know the fuel pump is not getting power?.The fuel pump only comes on for a second or two before cutting back off.The ecm only suppys power to the relay for a few short seconds with key in the on position.Only constant 12 volts is supplied when the engine is running. Is the fuel pump new?How do we know it is good? Also is the engine giving a spark when the engine is turning over?If the engine has no spark, then the pick up coil could be bad,otr the ignition module could be bad.Check the fuel at the injsctors or a fuel line to see if the fuel will pump out when the key is turned on,if it does not, then check to see if the ijectors are pulsing. If the injectors are not pulsing ,and you have spark, then remove the distributor and replace the pick up coil, and the ignition module. The pick up coil, along with the igniyion module give the injectors there pulse. One other thing,If the fuel pump is not for sure coming on,check to see if the relay is clicking on,and then off in a couple of seconds. If this is true, then replace the fuel pump.Any other questons, please ask,I will try to help if I can.I hope this was some help, let me know, thanks.

SOURCE: my 2000 ford focus cranks, but does not start. I

You will want to find out if you are not getting spark or not getting fuel.
If no fuel, then bad fuel pump, plugged fuel filter, or bad fuel pressure regulator, or bad fuel pump relay.

If no spark, then bad crank sensor, or ignition module, or coil packs.

SOURCE: 2000 Crown Vic cranks but won't start.

Check the fuel pump reset switch again, if it is popped back out then replace that little switch in the trunk, any ford one will do. it works off a magnet and a bearing to close the circuit for the fuel pump. easy fix.

Crank but won't start

You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem.
Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ?
It could be a relay, the ignition module, coil, fuel pump, or a list of other things.

Engine will not start.fuel pump does not run. intermittent problem. has been getting progressively worse. have changed fuel filter. checked electrical connectors.need accurate wiring diagram. chiltons...

start by checking the fuel pump fuse and relay. will the fuel pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key to the run position? If so you may need to replace the crank position sensor. When this goes bad the engine will turn over and start, but only run for a second or two then die like its out of gas.

If you do not hear the fuel pump coming on and the fuse and relay check out good then you will have to see if there is power going to the fuel pump. if power is present at the fuel pump plug then the fuel pump is bad

Fuel pump location and replacement

You are looking for the constant control relay module- ( CCRM ) see below. The pump will be located inside the fuel tank. Most of the time , its the pump and not the relay but, it wouldn't hurt to check the relay out. Teh relay is housed in the CCRM. Its located behind the engine coolant reservoir.
