Ac compressor will not engage when ac is on. System seems to be full of gas. Quit without warning. This is on a 2003 Nissan Altima with 2.5L. Secondary fan does come on when AC is switched on.

Check A/C compressor relay. When you say it seems to be full of gas(freon) have you actually put a pressure gauge on the system? If the pressure is too low, the compressor will not engage. If the compressor relay is functioning, check for power at the compressor clutch. If it has power to it and it still is not engaging, the A/C clutch may need replacing. It is usually almost as economical to replace the complete compressor with clutch installed than to just purchase a clutch. Keep in mind if you replace the compressor you should also replace the receiver/dryer also referred to as the accumulator.

2005 nissan altima 3.5 compressor has voltage clutch will not engage

I would bypass the low cycling switch and service the ac first,or use direct power and ground to inspect the clutch, just make sure your compressor is not locked up first.

NISSAN ALTIMA A/C COMPRESSOR WILL NOT ENGAGE

I just fix my 2010 Altima
The ac compressor did not engage
the fans were both running all time when ac on The problem was the high pressure valve located on the driver's side on the condenser
This valve controls both fans and compressor clutch

Is there a way to bypass my ac compressor on my 2000 nissan altima

Not really.
If the car was built without ac there might be an idler pulley used in place of the compressor.
If the compressor has failed, you could get a used one and not have it charged with freon.

I have a 2003 Nissan Altima and the AC is not working. It is blowing warm air,, refrigeration pressure is 105 lbs. Clutch on compressor will not engage. Pressure switch on condensor with 3 wires, jump...

105 psi? If so that is way to hi...especially for a mid-sized car. You ideally want you pressure to be between 40-50 psi. If you pressure is that hi you might have blown the pressure valve on you compressor, which is not a part that is sold seperately. You should take your car to your local Pep Boys and have them run a A/C diagnostic which runs around $45 to give you an better idea. If you don't know what you're doinf the A/C system is not something you want to play a guessing game with. Especially since it's illegal to work on it without the proper tools and licenses.

2000 nissan altama air conditiiong system not working

The first thing here is to check to make sure theres enough freon gas in the ac system if its low ac will not work, you will need ac gauges for this, next would be checking the fuses for ac compressor. hope this helps.
