Check out dexron 3 ,I think that is the correct fluid ,but first check the spare parts store ,they should have a book to check up.

Your owners manual will list it.
I highly recommend calling Mazda dealership - Parts Dept. if you want a Mazda answer.
Then and also call local Auto Parts stores for availability and prices.

2009 Mazda Demio. I would to know the recommended ATF for it please?

Question edited for clarity.

Be careful with terminology, ATF Fluid is a sort of an oil, but it is light in viscosity. Gearbox oil is for vehicles with manual transmission and is considerably thicker and would cause issues in an automatic.

How to flush transmission fluid on 2006 Mazda 6i with 2.3l

not easy that and the ATF in the box wrecks all the , clutch packs.

the pan drain only get 1/2 the ATF out.
ask any AT shop just how hard this is ,answer the worst job.
the law of diminishing returns on flush makes all the rules.
might take 5 full flushes to get most off that ATF out.
Me, I exchange it for a rebuilt box, and get your core $ charge returned.
never let the AF go acidic. and win.

Can i use synthetic oil ATF 3 on mazda rx8 automatic transmission ?

on the net there is a lot of rubbish and not much sense about the oil you want to use in the transmission
so best advice is to talk with accredited transmission specialist shops as to the advantages of the synthetic oil and the compatibility issues with wiring insulation, mixing with mineral oils before doing it your self
you may need a aft4 or later
