SOURCE: on my 92 jimmy you know how it has 2 transmission

Ok, the top line goes to transmission, as does the bottom line. They are connected at the transmission and the other end is connected at the cooler to create a path for the transmission fluid to flow through without losing fluid. One is connected at the top and one is connected at the bottom. I hope you understand this, since your question makes no sense to me.

Radiator leak transmission cooling line

The current trans cooler is built into the radiator. Just do a search for transmission oil coolers and you'll see what they're talking about. They can also simply repair the existing lines. That would be much cheaper

Need to know which line goes where on tha radiatior comeing from transmission, need diagram showing hook-ups

They should only fit one way. Since this system is flow through they can hook up either way. If you have an external cooler the routing is simple. One line from trans to radiator, out of radiator to cooler, out of cooler back to trans. If no cooler, to rad and back to trams. As I said there is no specific direction.

Does my 1998 4 door 4wd jimmy have a trans cooler?

The trans cooler is in one of the radiator tanks. All automatics have this. Some vehicles with the bigger motors and transmissions will also have a separate cooler. Some people will install a separate cooler in there vehicles when they do a lot of hauling or trailering.Hope this helps.Good luck.

My transmission line that connects to the radiator

The easiest fix is to get a transmission fluid cooler & use it to replace the fan connection completely. Basically you'll just shorten your lines a bit to clamp a hose over them & connect both lines to the 2 lines on the cooler. the cooler installs onto the front of the radiator with push through connectors that makes it easy to install & it will provide you even better trans. cooling in the warm months.

I have seen people use just a hose to connect the 2 lines & not have any problem in the cooler months but you really do need the trans fluid cooled during the warmer months to prevent trans damage.

check you fluid & top it off properly after making the repair!

Good Luck

Water in trans in a c6

Water in transmission is a bad radiator and it needs to be replaced or you can by pass the radiator and buy a transmission cooler instead of running the transmission fluid through the radiator. The transmission cooler is built in to the radiator on the passenger side, the high line is on the top and the return will be on the bottom. Good luck and hope this helps.

Brownish fluid leaking from the small mannifold on the passenger side of the car in front of the radiator...is this transmission fluid?

Good chance it's the transmission fluid. The passenger side of the radiator is the transmission cooler side and the coolant is leaking from the transmission lines. There should be two lines, one on top which is the inlet and the bottom one which is the return line. Check to make sure there is no corrosion along the lines or that the line has not come loose at the radiator. Locate the leak and repair or replace the lines. Good luck and take care not to run low on transmission fluid, low fluid in the system will cause the transmission to burn out.

The trans coolant lines when replaced the line at the top of the radiator ,does it also go to the top of the trans? there is an upper and lower on both the trans and radiator, is it top to top and bottom...

there are 2 lines from trans. to radiator.the 'cooler'' inside the radiator is no more than a tube connecting the two lines to form a 'loop' if all is original, there should only be one 'best fit'.T to T, B to B [ lines parallel] sounds like it.
